neither is your's we can only go on what we've been told, the truth if you will THE BULLDOGS CHEATED!!!!!!!

Yeah, in 2002. And you're accusing them of doing the same in 2003 and 2004. You have no evidence, no proof, no credibility and worse still no intelligence. Come back to me when the name plaque on your desk says "National Rugby League Salary Cap Auditor", and maybe we can talk.

Luckily it's in your opinion. I don't accept the win was built on cheating because it wasn't. 2004 was fair and square ours to win. We came within five seconds of losing it too, but won thanks to a great tackle and poor Crocker handling - but none of it matters. My club is still successful and still a very real chance of going back-to-back. Your club is now 19 years with nothing to show but a few chokes and a string of years in the mid-90's where the club could barely just avoid the spoon. This year won't be much different.
so you dont remember 2002? if you still have majority of players from that team playing in your grand final team then essetially your team is built on cheating you fool!!!!

as for your real chance of going back to back your sitting in 9th spot (8 teams make it) and you lost to souths last weekend!

I never said anything about cheating the cap in 03 or 04 I said that their 04 premiership team was built (in 2002) on cheating

So you believe that the entire 17 from 2002 should be eradicated?

Get a grip!

As for your claim we have no real chance, actually read the ladder. Do you comprehend that we are only one win out of 6th spot? Only two out of 3rd spot? Hell, if we're good enough and the Eels falter, we could end up in front of you! Wake up and smell the roses, there is no team between Brisbane and New Zealand that you can write off for the year.

But your current captain's contract should have been torn up due to the fact that you only got him due to a salary cap breach. And it was him who made the try-saving tackle on Crocker to win the grand final, so really that * next to your premiership is there and rightly so.

Wonder if you actually researched that one. Ryan was a rumour until well and truly after the scandal aired, at which time he then was signed in confidence that the club was under the cap going into 2003.

Believe what you will but I think we all know who's right here and who is clutching at staws.

Because once the finals hit, it doesn't matter where you finish. Both us and the Cowboys proved that last year, We also proved that in 1995 and 1998. Once we're in the finals, I'm confident anything can happen, especially back-to-back premierships.

You can believe what you want about the salary cap bullsh*t you're going on with - but the truth is, Canterbury won the premiership 100% legally, within the salary cap in 2004. In fact, after their 2002 and 2003 premierships respectively, both Sydney and Penrith were found to have made minor breaches. Should asterisks not go next to their spots in the record books?

That looks about right - Although I'd probably have Parra above Cowboys, NQ don't seem to be able to hold onto form in the reg season.

If you honestly believe that the deal wasn't done then you need to take your Blue and White goggles off and wake up mate. He was signed well before it was announced, they just delayed the announcement until it had blown over and they had made some extra room (although I was pretty sure it was announced before, however I don't remember it well enough so I'll take your word for it). I'll eat my hat if Ryan's contract didn't contribute to the salary cap breach in 2002.

How can it you f**kwit? He was signed for the 2003 season! The breach was for the 2001 and 2002 season inclusive. Geez you're running out of brain cells!

no because their breaches weren't huge cover ups and under the table dealings they were just mistakes

Either way, still a breach. I'm basing those (Syd & Pen) on actual iron-clad breaches as to why they should be in question. You're basing our 2004 victory on what you "think" is "going on" and apparently has been since the breaches were first discovered. I'll personally serve the hat up for you if in any way we've broken the salary cap rules in the way you describe in the last two-three years

Dodger you know how Parramatta fans and Manly fans never unite because our teams are traditional rivals well 1 Manly fan and 2 parra fans have united to prove you wrong. Of course I'm also a Melbourne fan and because I am the very next week the shock I felt when the Bulldogs beat Manly at Brookie was more or less appeased the next week when hmm now let me see Melbourne beat the Dogs 33-6 at the Sydney Showground. Manly scored 1 extra converted try than the dogs did the week before and Melbourne scored 1 extra goal than the dogs.

That's 3 months.
Since I haven't had the chance to memorise Parras draw yet, that was obviously an understatement.

Though my point still stands, the Dogs have failed to beat the 14th placed team twice this season, so obviously they're far from the top 8 certs you make them out to be.
