Kahu ?

He's been very quiet in the big games over the last two weeks barring one play at the end of the first Easts game.

Wouldn't be in the top three in Wynnum's backline lately.

I'd run with:

1. Maranta
2. Vidot
3. Copley
4. Hodges
5. Kahu (Hoffman if fit, but it's unlikely)

Have Maranta catch the bombs and clean up the grubbers (which he's good at because he's actually a Fullback). Then have Hodges play Fullback in attack. Easy.

I would prefer for Maranta to watch the game in a suit on the bench. He is a liability

That's because he's been chucked out on the wing. He's done everything asked of him and has done a lot of work in those games.

No lineup that has Hodges in the centres is a good one. We have started playing better the moment Hodges went to fullback! Leave him there!

If Hodges plays at fullback he needs to pull his head in and let the halves run the show. He stymied the attack against the Storm.

The only real difference when Hodges plays fullback is the number on his back. He gets involved in the attack slightly more, but that's about it.

Not too sure about that. The pack were getting steamrolled and at least he was moving us up the field. Not too many 90+ metre tries will come from our current team.

From the couriermail, I really hope this isn't happening:

Fullback Josh Hoffman is rated a strong chance to return from ankle injury this week, allowing Justin Hodges to move back to his usual centre spot and Dale Copley to move into injured Jack Reed’s position.

I'm happy with it.

Hodges was heavily targeted in defence and conceded a try because of his failure to clean the ball up. Let Hoffman do the dirty work and when it's time to spread the ball shift Hoffman/Hodges around.

I'd much rather have Hoffman return so we don't need Kahu or Oats playing centre

Hodges will play fullback in attack, Hoffman fullback in defence.

Hoffman is one of the better defensive fullbacks in the game, we're an OK chance in this game.

Lowrie in the team......AGAIN!!!
Why does Griffin do this? And some clowns think he was unlucky to be sacked.

No Hoffman is a positive the last thing I want is a 30% average player coming back.

Exactly. What does Lowrie bring to this team? Particularly when we will have three big bopper forwards on the bench.

Once again our lack of depth, and Griffin's poor development of players on show. Look at some of the other teams in the finals, where coaches don't think twice about bringing in a younger player with little experience.

Glanville will be playing in the ISC Grand Final of course, and we'll have all the impact of a dead mullet off the bench.

Well...and Griffin wonders why he was sacked:lol:
