Cue the Darth Vader music as Melbourne are on their way to Brisbane next week courtesy of that constant thorn in our side the Warriors.

Probably a good week earlier than we wanted to play them but I think whoever comes out on top will have a bloody good case for going on to win the whole thing so bring them on I say.

I'm quietly confident as well, we've just got to tighten up our goal-line defence and we'll have the fire power to go with them.

Awesome for us as it was either Melbourne at home week 2 or Melbourne in melbourne week 3 so we were going to have to face them eventually. Playing them at home is a slightly better result.

I guess so, on the flip side it's hard to see Melbourne losing 2 weeks in a row. Where we could've had another week to build momentum while Melbourne sat around getting rusty. Either way it doesn't matter, if we're serious about winning this comp we've gotta go through anyone anywhere so bring it on.

I dunno if I wanna play Melbourne next week. I was expecting them to beat the Warriors. I'm in shock. They will no doubt be pissed off and take it out on us. Bellamy is currently going off like an atomic bomb.

But all I can say is, whoever wins this I reckon will go on to beat Cronulla and go to the GF.

I would rather play them at home at least, the Warriors showed today EXACTLY how you beat them. We have the players to beat them, they are not as good as the side last season. Lol at Slater today.

We have the attacking game to trouble them, it's our defence that worries me... especially against the high cross field kicks. You can bet your life Inglis and Falou will have a field day with the high kicks

I don't know if the bombs worry me. We're a very good team at defending against them despite having no real jumpers in the team. We're just very good exponents of the shield tactic.

It's the inside balls and angled runs close to our line that worry me as our inside defenders can get pretty lazy at times.

Bellamy's been 'going off like an atomic bomb' all season. I'm hoping this is the Storm's problem. I'm think the team is wearying after eight months of coping "Belly-Ache's" tirades. Who wouldn't!

Contrast his style to Bennett's - taking the pressure off at the pointy end of the season because let's face it - who needs motivation now?? And who needs information? If you don't know your role in the team now, you never will!

Bring 'em on. I'm not 100% confident - alot depends on how the referee interprets Melbourne's slow-down tactics in the ruck. They got away with blue murder today, particularly in the first half, but the ref starting handing out a few penalties and the head-locks disappeared.

They'll be carrying a few injuries next week, Johnston, Lima, Hoffman all limped on the field today

I prefer this to be honest. So many advantages I can think of:

-Storm will be rattled after today's match
-Storm don't get the week off to freshen up
-Storm having 2 days less turnaround
-Warriors showing how to beat Melbourne(By no means did Melbourne play poorly today)
-Match played at Suncorp
-This will definitely be the farewell of Bennett and Carroll at Suncorp
-Should be plenty of scrutiny over the storm's wrestling tactics after today's match

I can't really think of too many cons to be honest. It was either Melbourne this week or Melbourne next week. And if we had have lost, we would have played the warriors away, which I consider just about equally dangerous for us.

Put it this way. If you asked whether Bellamy would have wanted the week off to sit back and play Brisbane at a neutral venue, or whether they would have wanted to play Brisbane this week at Suncorp, there's no way he'd pick the latter.

You'll do them.
Real footballers will beat wrestler/athletes every day of the week if the refs are doing their job.

Looking around at the forum, just about everyone is backing us with this LOL@storm stuff. Usually everyone wants us to lose.

I know. I don't think we've ever been in this situation before. I hope we don't get jinxed.

Be interesting if the stupid Terrorgraph support the Storm ths week like they did in the lead up to the 06 GF.

No, what I meant is it's unusual for this kind of 'support' to happen. I am used to everyone hating my team.
