Decent effort guys, my only comment is GI and Samy haven't stepped up, I love your team, but a bit disappointed in those 2.

Credit where it's due, Easts did their homework and played as good a game against us as anyone has this year and deserved the result.

I thought what killed Souths tonight was the fact that so often in attack guys would be flat footed when the ball was being offloaded. There wasn't any anticipation and it played into the Roosters hands who slid really well in defence.

Season as a whole, it exceeded a lot of our expectations and despite the disappointing way it ended, it was a great year and hopefully is the beginning of another run of finals.

However disappointed we may be as supporters, it will be nothing in comparison to what the players will be feeling.
