Can't say I bother with watching reserves. If grown men are there it begs the question why they're there in the first place. Not to mention it is played at a different pace, more errors, more penalties and more missed tackles.

The only blokes who should be ear marked are the graduates from flegg who have shown promise.

That’s ridiculous, plenty of players do an apprenticeship in reserve grade before making it in first grade.
Flegg straight to first grade? Lol.
Plenty of champions have come through reserve grade from more junior grades before making it big.
Dont bother watching reserve grade?

I watched the Rabbits/ Storm game last night.
I decided to start a drinking game, I had a shot every time I saw a storm player get up from a tackle and stand on a Rabbits players arm or hand as he was getting to marker.
I was passed out by halftime.

Funny you say that. My whole family (parents, brothers) are mad keen sharks fans. In the 2016 grand final I told myself that I would go for sharks, you know, I want my family to be happy and all.
Game starts and I am cheering on the sharks. With 15 minutes to go I found myself cheering on the storm to win.
Sharks won and I went to bed angry. It was no win situation.

Thats what Id be saying ..... Anyway I hope they go out there and smash the Broncos , and our coach proves me wrong .....

Grew up and still live in the shire. Old man worked for the major sponsor when I was a 6 year old so used to go to games a lot, dad had to organize the dragon mascot for a while.
Went to school where all my mates went for sharks, I was always staunch dragons.
I've tried to adopt sharks as my second team but just cannot do it. I hate them.
Maybe when Gallen finally retires it might help.
And Fafita.
And Flanno.

Reggies is better policed and reffed and at times a joy to watch. Yep its speed and defensive power is down but they dont have to have a TV big screen friendly game with the refs as presenters on an audio show.

If I was interviewd as Dragons coach I would tell them about the dream I had during the week. Geez they ask all the soft stuff. Call it a preminition or whatever but all I have got is 34-12.
And like Mary I would remind them we were in the Top 4 until Round 23, 1st for 16 rounds and every team goes through a form slump at some time throughout the year..and ours has been a bit lately. Now go and report on that.

Is it unreasonable to expect the coaches and staff associated with those teams to tell you which players are stand outs? Any coach who micromanages to that extent wouldn't be a coach for long.

Dropping them for a game or two is a much improved proposition than replacing them permanently with an unproved player from ISP. You can't move guys on permanently until their contracts expire with the amount they're being paid these days.

'Hoping'. If you're the coach you can't use woos words like hoping. You need to make firm statements to the media regardless of your actual thoughts.
