Watch the Geelong coachs honesty in the press conference after his team lost to Melbourne last night.
That’s a coach!
Mary is a dud with more than one screw lose.
You may not like AFL, but the Geelong coach’s response in the press conference is so far above Mary’s dull utterances and excuses it’s laughable
Now back to the RoRters forum for you
Just had a listen to my first AFL press conference ever.
He’s good. Even said one his players wasn’t smart enough and backed the umpire’s call.
Refreshing.

Now that’s an honesty session.

Every other coach sounds amazing compared to McDrunk.

Favourite coach I have ever read about or listened to is John Wooden. Unfortunately, he did not coach NBA. He is so highly respected and what he did with UCLA is nothing short of amazing. He would never say something along the lines of that I have the team I want now. Yes he did coach superstars but also made every player, average or not play to their potential and even beyond.

Are you okay? I know your thoughts aren't very logical in the best of times but this is one of the worst instances.

When did I say I watch ISP but I don't watch reserves?

So Aitken and Host are the first 2 dropped from the original team list.

However, Nighty still remains in the 19 and that does concern me no-end. There has to be serious doubt over his elbow, but I can see McGregor putting him in instead of Periera, just for that big game experience over a 1st year rookie. Secondly, and more scarily imo, would be to drop Lomax, play Nighty on the wing and shift Nene to centre, but as I said that would be scary, very scary.

I can understand Sele, being in the 19 as the back-up for JDB.

Quote from Wayne Bennett, let’s hope the injuries keep them out.

“When I was coaching (him) he was always doing his best. It may not always work for him but he is trying to do his best.” Brisbane have emerged as dark horses after three straight wins but have been struck a blow, with Kiwi international back-rowerAlex Glenn succumbing to a calf strain on Saturday.

It opens the door for teenager David Fifita to continue his rise. The 18-year-old — who only made his NRL debut in late June — will slot into the starting back-row for Glenn, while Kotoni Staggs graduates to the bench for the sudden death clash.

“He’s as good a kid I have coached at that age,” the master coach said. Bennett has played down concerns for winger Corey Oates (calf) and forward Tevita Pangai (hamstring

Unfortunately a win for us will constitute a loss less than 10 points - there’s very little chance on evidence that we could remotely be thinking about a win tomorrow - I can see a tenacious fight but broncos have class all over the park and most probable the best pack in the NRL.. hoping for a miracle but can’t see it.
What a waste of a season!

Wash your mouth out Mickeylane!
BUT, given your horrible record of predictions I think you may have just iced it for us. Dragons win tomorrow!

I've been very concerned that we would struggle to get a victory tomorrow but with your history and prediction, sounds like we'll sh!t it in!

Cheers .............. Go you Saints!!!!!!!!!!
