Crush he needs to stop saying what we have done , and how good we were ....
What he says is true. We smashed the Broncos in round 1. We play like that again and we beat this mob. I think every coach in our position would say the same thing. We were awesome at the start of the season, we have the same group of players, that is what we should draw our confidence from.
Done it before, we can do it again.
Whether that's true or not its what a coach should be and has to say.

pressure off .. he says.

Now mind games aside, that is just BS. Leading the comp for so long and then arriving at game 1 of the semis , to say " pressure off " is a cop out.

No, its not pressure off, its game f**king over. Its an elimination game FFS

Just watching the Souths Melbourne game.Weare miles off the level being displayed by the teams on show tonight.
We are absolute cannon fodder and irrespective of who we have on the field we are a level below.

Correct, I am still hoping for a win, but yes we are a level below.

Use to drink schooners of New at Kogarah pub in the late 70’s.
Coolest beer in town!
After two beers, l’d need a medicab for my frozen nose.
Drank bourbon & cola for the best part of 38 years and swung over to Gin & tonic cause my wife wanted me to do something healthy.
Mate I rarely drink beer theses days....like you enjoy a bourban and cola now havnt gone on to gin and tonic yet....but apparently its a nice drink.....probably drank to much beer at Mick Moylans pub in my younger days with the mates on the way to the SCG to be honest

He's protecting the players in that statement, taking the pressure off them (which he hopes will allow them to play better).
Again, what he says may be BS but what on earth do you expect a coach to say here?

Yes up tempo isnt it....did make a comment to my wife in that the refs are letting a lot go that teams were penalised for in the season proper....seems a bit unfair really when you think sbout it, I wonder how many teams missed the 8 because they were penalised to the letter.....tell you what Tru the Melb winger shoulld be penalised for shoulder charging Jennings off the ball after he collected Inglis. If they were fair di kum he dead set hit Jennings off the ball before he took possession

Yes mate good point.

Greenberg did say they would ref the semis as per SOO. The change in policy is mind blowing. But it does give me solace that the penalty count in our game, will be 5-3 s opposed to 15-10.

Nah, we'll still get hammered by the refs. Just watch and see.
We will need to be at our very best to get this one but after seeing tonights game, yeh the pressure is off cause we are no chance to match the top sides on current form. We are not even in the ball park at the moment but it can change and hope it does.

Refs aside, I have said that we need to lift by some margin to even be in this game.

My point was that the refs will not blow penalties, every 2 f**king minutes,. How that works out, time will tell mate

Dragons vs Rabbits next week if we win on Sunday. Thats a good result, beats going to Melbourne to play the Storm

Ummm...

Jennings, Inglis, Gagai, Walker, Johnston, Reynolds...

Who've we got?

Nene who strolls around
Lomax the one gamer
Pereira the gap filler
Lafai the plodder
Dufty the turnstile
The one armed Widdop
The miserable Hunt

...to compliment our busted forward pack.

We've got to beat ourselves before we even begin to take on the Broncos.

What did johnston do tonight nothing.
Jennings, all he has to do is fall over the line.
Nothing special.
Walker suspect in defence.
Reynolds needled up in the 2nd half must be suspect.

So you would rather play storm in Melbourne?

Yes, that would definitely help us if it happens as part of our form dip has been due to some rough decisions here and there and heads dropping. If the game can be let to flow and we can stay in it then who knows.
