Finch Partly to blame

Exactly Chook. Get rid of these 'What if' stories we could go on about them until Rigamortis sets in. "What if a little girl lost her eye when he threw it back" well what if the inbred dogs fan that threw the bottle at Finch took Finchs' eye out?

Please get over it. Finch is a bit of a barry for not thinking logically and sliding it over the sidelines but you have to think of the underlying cause of the problem...and its the Bulldogs fans in this case. They are animals.

Sorry Southern, but on this we must disagree.

The bottle should not have been there in the first place. And even had Finch ignored these pack of half humans, they would have persisted throwing more thinking they can get away with it and we'd right back here talking about their brainless antics.

I commend Finch for taking a stand with these mongerloids and showing them WE won't put up with their crap. The bulldogs club should take a leaf out of Brett's handbook.

Chook.

LOL..I know your upset, but if that's what you think, then you may nned a lesson in real life.
Ask the people who started to walk when this all started. Ask them if they felt they or their kids felt the danger.
This is football Chook, Not bahgdad
StG...we KNOW ITS FOOTBALL NOT BAGDAD....so what the f**k are missiles doing flying onto the field. Tell it to the arseholes that started this.Tell them they arent in Bagdad.
I have, i have stated many times in posts re this incident, that these hooligans should be banned and possibly thrown away with records.

There would not have a bottle on the field to begin with. Rooster fans are there to watch the footy not incite violence for the sake of it.

What about those who called Bulldogs fans 'Rapists'? Are they just there to watch the footy? Bit of harmless ribbing is it?

I've just watched the replay on Fox along with a review and there was no footage or commentary of Finch having thrown the bottle. Catic picked up a bottle and tossed it aside. Finch clearly was upset and calling to the ref and pointing at the bottle.

Oh get farked d!ckhead.

Last night was one of the worst in the NRL's history. The crowd behaviour was a disgrace and whereas most people on here are busy condemning what happened, you instead see it as an opportunity to bag the Roosters. Unbelieveable.

You really are clutching at straws Jill.

You haven't heard about it because, compared to the other events of last night, it was an extremely minor incident, barely worth noting at all. Which is fine with me. But please don't deny that it happened - it definitely did.

Would you people be satisfied if it came to gallop's attention ?

Fine. I will make sure it's in the papers then.

I'm not denying it happened, what I'm saying is that it wasn't shown. If he did it, then he needs to be mentored as to how to respond to that type of situation as do all the players.

So says the pot to the kettle. Look, Brett Finch has always been childish. It seems to run in the family, because his sister always seemed to act like a spoilt little brat when I went to school with her.

The point is, is that it seems nobody has taken him aside and taught him that as a football player, he has responsibilities that the average Joe doesn't have. I'm sure right now he's realising that what he did was stupid, but as everyone else has said he should in no way carry any part of the blame for what preceded and followed that incident.

Oh do it StgIllaman, stop pissing in our pockets about it and just do it. I await to see the headlines

"Finch Forces Dogs Violence"

It was reported to the telegraph from an unbrained source that Brett Finch initiated the violence at Aussie Stadium. The unbrained source blah blah blah...

Chook.

Well the issue is still debatable, one mob is saying he threw it over the dead ball line and watching the video, this is what appears to have happened, albiet in the direction of the crowd. And the other is saying he threw it at 100mph AT the crowd.

..ohh and Kaz, thanx ;-)
