OB will be safe for this year.

He has the past 2 seasons of making the 8 as buffer. And after the Melbourne game we can get a few wins and secure our place out of spoon contention.

Barret closest to the guillotine, Brown and Walters next for the chop.

Barrett deserves everything he gets though, he got the Manly job at 38, if he just stayed grounded he'd have the Turbos and a cast of other support players but because he was a dickhead he is at the Bulldogs.

38 and walking into one of the best rosters in the comp... he blew it.

Barrett was a odd selection as coach for the Dogs in the first place, he didn't handle losing well at all while he was at the Sea Eagles so if I was in charge of a rebuilding club who were always bound to win sub 30% I would have never even considered him.

there seems to be pressure on Brown after the storm put 70 on the warriors

if the Storm put 70 on the knights - is it game over for AOB?

how the hell does Sticky not have more pressure on him...

His mate Loz is always defending him...but it can't be long now till he's under real pressure

O'Brien has the best roster out of all the struggling sides along side Canberra so really Stuart and O'Brien should be under the most heat.

Who really thought Bulldogs were going to go well this year?

Wasn't so much going well. Rather seeing if we could win a few more and be on an upward trajectory. The hard draw at the start hasn't helped. Now running into a run playing the bottom eight teams might help us get some confidence and play with the structures.

That said, Dufty is crap. JKM is not a hooker and I'm not sure why Barrett is persisting with him.

JKM is one of the worst players at hooker I've ever seen (the nuffy who replaced Smith in the 08 GF is the worst).

Can he pass from the ground? Every tackle he seems to pick the ball up, look both ways take a few steps and then passes to a forward about to get belted by the defence because he wasted so much time in the ruck.

His time at Manly was not much better when he had a pretty awesome spine with Tommy Turbo, DCE and Koroisau but could only manage to scrape into the finals once out of 3 seasons. Only to be elimiated week 1.
Before someone else gets in.

Nathan Brown is safe. Firstly, despite last week's loss, the Warriors are still well in reach of the top eight.

If they beat the Raiders this week (which is doable) they could be back in it and have 4:4 record after 8 rounds.

Secondly, Brown originally turned down the Warriors. The owners somehow changed his mind and will be extremely reluctant to remove him mid season and will possibly use the 'away from home' excuse until end of the year.

The upcoming two matches between the Tigers and Bulldogs will both be significant in either Barrett or Madge sticking out the season.
