Have you seen the competition, Toby Sexton?
Yeah unfortunately this is true. Boyd is better than Sexton who might be the slowest half in an NRL top 30.

We needed a decent 7 in the offseason, not a washed up 5/8 who is stealing minutes from our most creative players AJ Brimson and Jayden Campbell who should be our 1 and 6. Keano Kini is also in the picture too and will need to get some minutes soon as he is an incredible young talent.

Foran doesn't even kick much in general play or goal kick (if replacing Boyd) which was probably our biggest preseason need. Foran didn't really fill any team needs other than "veteran leadership".

I have found that unusual. I would have expected him to be kicking more.

I'd argue they have improved this year. Not a whole lot of course. But just 2 points outside the 8. In round 12 last year they were 6 points clear of it. We are about halfway so they still have time to get their shit together.

Their organisation in attack last year was diabolical. The spine was finding so many ways to move the ball away from Fifita in attacking positions. Looked like Brimson was having too much sway on decision making in the red zone to me. They would favour the left often when Fifita was on the right which has changed this year.

I put our improved attack almost entirely down to not having plod Erin Clark derping everything up in attack with his awful service, decision making and lack of speed or kicking game out of dummy half.

Clark is also a poor middle defender, he rarely makes good contact or wins the tackle.

Randall is a million times better than him at hooker, let alone Verrills.

I'll take your word for it. He didn't look all that good either but I'd see Brimson being the most vocal on field when I watched them.

Your thoughts on Verills? Is he adding anything when he returns

I think he has a few more strings to his bow than Randall, but Randall has been a pleasant surprise. He exceeded all expectations so far.

Fitler could be next cab off the rank if things don’t go to plan over the next few weeks!
Sounds like Hynes is prepping to come on at 9…. What a waste - if you’re going to bring him on at 9, should have gone with Cook/Api combo…. Reckon he’s made a cowards decision here.

If the roosters don’t turn things around soon Robinson will face pressure
Something extraordinary would have to happen this year for him to face significant pressure, next year could be different though.

It speaks to the expectation and ruthlessness that the roosters have though that this is starting to be mentioned given the league has the likes of Arthur, Holbrook and O'Brien seemingly under no pressure.

I feel like this thread has lost its way.

Griffin being sacked was a long, drawn out affair and when it happened, we all knew it was coming.

I wanna see some chaos! BA or someone who thinks they are going to feel hard done by.

Robbo ain't getting booted. Every team will have a dip, I'd rather have a coach who knows how to dig a club out of the mess.

Sacking Robbo would confirm BA and Sticky as being untouchables.

Robbo is probably more under pressure from fans then the club tbh.

I dont Uncle nick has any intention at this stage to part ways he has his scapegoat in Ryles.

Arthur is similar i would say less then 50% of fans still want him here at Parra - he has been there too long. But the club has shown no inclination of removing him.

Only reason Robbo gets mentioned is to shake the thread up a bit. Not sure anyone actually believes it.
Fun to speculate though.

Should do a wildcard coach draw and just send random coaches everywhere. Just for kicks. Send BA to the Dragons with a tin of red paint.

Weird how we don't hear much from Uncle Nick anymore....

Knights and titans aren’t the eels or roosters

parra and roosters could probably come good

b.smith has been a lemon and another roosters young half (Walker) losing his way. How much of those two grand finals was cronk
