Obviously hook and o'brien are the deserved favourites. Where does sticky stand if the raiders have a poor start?

name your odds and stake and I’ll take your money. I’ll give you 100-1 odds. Minimum $1k bet. PM me for bank details

That’s where Stuart stands. For better or worse

it’s his club…. The only way he’s the next coach sacked is the old politics adage - caught in a hotel room with a young girl or a dead boy

I kinda thought that with the stick, he never seems to be under any real pressure.

GIven recent events the boys in blue would probably botch the investigation and Ricky would get off, and sign a five year extension, while sueing the DPP.

At the Roosters and Cronulla, once it started going south for him, it snowballed. At Parramatta he never really got out of the blocks, he was probably close to getting the arse when canberra came knocking. Canberra is as probably his first job where he’s had several slumps that he’s turned around.

When he’s been under pressure in the past he’s always looked like the weight of the world is on his shoulders, he’s never really looked that way at Canberra, aside from his first season.

Ricky was a novice coach at the Roosters and got white anted by Gould who was jealous of his success same as he did to Murray. At Canberra no one interferes.

On the next sacking, does forgetting to turn up count, then I think Bennett is a good chance :)

You have got to be kidding. Gould left the Roosters well before Stuart did. In fact it was Stuart's insistence on taking control of roster retentions and new signings that saw Arthur Beetson resign from the Roosters as Recruitment Officer. Stuart's "big" idea to replace Brad Fittler was to sign Brett Firman. He never adequately replaced Jason Cayless in the front row after he left at the end of 2005, he kept bring in second rowers doing things like moving Craig Fitzgibbon to prop during 2006.

In fact under Stuart and his "grand" work, in his last two seasons at the Roosters, they finished 9th (2005) and 14th (2006). Nick Politis and the Roosters board would not take that lieing down. Its why Stuart got the heave ho.

Just to add, didn’t Gus and Ricky have a falling out over signing Finch? Gus had advised that Thurston was going to be available but Ricky thought Finch was a better prospect. Can’t remember where I heard it but is there any truth to it?

"Hey guys. Sure, the last grand final win was in 2019, it's been a lean few years since then I tall ya. Haven't advanced past the second round since then. Got eliminated by souffs last year, now a loss to the newbies."

Uncle Nick could turn on him in a heartbeat

signing cronk mayve exaggerated his coaching abilities

they got belted in the forwards today badly

after getting smith they will expect results to turn around soonish
