I heard it first in my mind. Bailey is all class. He should be top of our re-sign list. Without question.

I've been very impressed with Young this year, and although was annoyed we re-signed him intially, he's proven to be quite handy.

I agree with the Tolar comment wholeheartedly, I know Smith likes size, but we have some very handy players we could play at lock. Tolar lacks the feet to make as good a lock as he does prop.

Yeah, I think Tanner's there because he's an 80min worker. Simmo and Bedsy usually occupy that role, but with them backing up from SOO, they're be a little fatigued if they don't pull out all togethor. It's a smart selection for the balance of the team. I'm very happy with the side named, very confident of a good win.

I'm happy for Tanner to be given a fresh go in 2007 to prove his worth, but that must come close to the overstatement of the year! I strongly doubt he has played three 80 games in his entire NRL career, and he would be lucky to average 25 tackles and 7 hitups per game. He is the king of mediocrity.

Considering the Knights generally drum up any players 100 and 200 marks, I'm surprised Danny hasn't gotten anything. I'm glad we have a Monday game, I don't think Bedsy would be any chance otherwise.

I'd be surprised if Buderus didn't play. Considering he would have had nearly 5 days to recover from Origin, I expect him to lead us out on Monday night :D

We might even go close to having the side named on Tuesday being the side which runs out on matchday

apparently Luke MacDougall is gone for the season.

Where did you hear that? I thought he played well in both his games for us. He will be a big loss if that is the case.

I dont think its certain yet however they did say there was a fair chance he is out for the season.

Preliminary MRI scans suggest the injury is season ending, but a specialist today would provide a conclusive prognosis.

Knights Physician Neil Halpin said "The only area of dispute is whether it's a partial or complete tear.If it's a complete tear,it would need to be repaired surgically ,which would put him out for about 3-4 months. If it's a partial tear,it could possibly be a matter of weeks."
"My gut feeling is that it's not so bad ,but we haven't got all the information."

From the reports on here, scarce though they may be, it seemed average was the retrospective (and anticipated) consensus. Real shame Franze is injured.

I'd still like to think that Aku will get a run in the final half of the year, but I'm starting to think that Smith won't use him until 2008 as a part of the backline which may look like:

1. Kurt Gidley
2. James McManus
3. Wes Naiqama
4. Adam MacDougall
5. Akuila Uate
