Knights website.

Interesting to note that Hilder and Sau probably won't train until Thursday at the earliest and Houston may not necessarily start at prop - Fa'aoso might instead. I don't suppose it's too bad a side considering...

Good to see Timmy get another run, pity the circumstances though :(
Be very interesting to see how the halves go for a whole game together, they may surprise a few on here. (Here's hoping anyway)

Yeah another opportunity for timmy.

Do you think will will see wicksy get a shot coming on in the back row? running a bit wider? with timmy and faas prop replacements? could be interesting.

It's possible, Wicks tends to roam around as it is (that's not meant to be a critisism) Have to be honest I haven't been much of a wicks fan, but he has been better of late.

a decent side considering.
we have had a lot worse sides grab the points over the last few seasons.

not much gametime in that bench - or in the team for that matter.
running out of gas will be a problem unless House, Taia and Hilder play the house down, and maybe Kidley needs to spend some time at hooker in attack to give De Gois a chance to save something for defence.

hope simmo has kept his cardio up

big bench

ironic thing is, put mullo into that team and we are almost as confident as we can be going into a match against pretty much the best team in the comp

is mullo reminding anyone else of a certain #7 who used to do ok for us? maybe not the older version, but certainly the 96-97 version.

Did i hear right that kurt has been consulting the kicking coach the last couple of weeks? Has he noticed a trend at all? I cant wrap my head around why he would refuse to use him.... when he does he seems to put it between the posts, when he doesnt he struggles to put it between the corner posts!

Yes.

Very much so, and that 96-97 player you refer of helping Mullen at training might have a bit to do with it too...

But agree 100%.

Some of the things he has done this year is identical, especially his individual tries against the Titans in Round 1 and the Tigers last weekend.

True Freddo, I'd forgotten that...keen to see how it goes again :)

Are we talking about the injuries of a certain halfback during 96-97? :p Nah I think i know what you mean - slotting him in the team makes us look a whole lot better.

Quite a good team considering the injury toll as well, thank god for our depth!

That's pretty much our full strength backline depending on your opinion of Vuna/Naiqama/Uate. I hope that no-one drops out so we have to deal with Lulia again. Why not trial Mata'utia if he's so good? Players of his calibre tend to sink rather than swim at that age anyway (cutie, Lawrence, Shannon Walker etc.)

I miss something or did you mean swim rather than sink? i thought they were quality from the get go.... But yeah i agree i would sooner see him in than lulia, mostly because i am excited to see what the hype is about.
Anyone have a rough time on coops return?

it seems this forum has found its new uate
i heard for years trying to get uate into the firstgrade
but he wasnt in cuz he wasnt ready
and i think it'd be the same
hopefully he'll get a run around origin time
but otherwise i'll be glad with wes/mcmanus/doogs/cooper/uate fighting for the backline
lulia is ok i guess
he certainly looks kinda threatening when he hits the line
but he looks pretty fragile too....
