The 9 all draw against the Dragons in the first tied grand final. I remember I cried when Cronin missed that goal when Sukowitz scored just wide of the posts.

If it's any consolation Suity, I don't think you're that old - just extremely lucky to haven been there when we won our only Premierships to date.

I don't consider myself old either. ;-) Thanks mate.

And I do consider myself lucky to have seen All Parramatta's victories, Thats maybe why seasons like the last three disappoint me greatly.

The try was scored halfway between the posts and the sideline, but still wasn't a difficult kick for Cronin.
When Sulkowicz scored, I have never, to this day, seen a crowd react like it.
Newcastle's last minute win in '97 comes a close second.

I can't remember what game it was but I have vague recollections of being at games from about age 4, so that would be 1981.
I can't really remember details...just patches for a few years.
1986 I remember following the legends all year...and decorating our house for the G/F. Dad and I sat in the lounge room yelling and cheering, I don't know where Mum and young Jesseel (age about 9 months) were.
Been a strong supporter ever since. :D :D :D :D :D

I can't remember my 1st eels game but one that sticks out in my mind is when we beat Canterbury 7-6 at Belmore in 1986.

Parramatta scored 3 goals off the boot of the crow and then Steve Mortimer scored right under the sticks for Canterbury i thought we were gone and started crying.

But the tears cleared when Peter Sterling kicked a Field Goal and then turned on a HUGE kicking game killing the Dogs.

Great Game...And Belmore used to be our home ground!

The first game I saw live was Parramatta Vs Balmain, 1986.

I had watched Parramatta since 1981, when my first memories come to me, but that was my first live game. We won, I was happy my Brother who was a tigers fan was not. I think that game someone got taken off on those strechers they build around you. It was the bloke with long curly blonde hair from Balmain.

Parra Vs Broncos @ Lang Park in 1989 I think the year was.
lost 16-8 :( but was part of what was then a record crowd for that stadium.

That was mine too.....biggest memory from that game was seeing Matty Goodwin get absolutely poleaxed by the Broncs.

It was at Parra Stadium V the Magpies in '88. I was going thru a black and white stage so it looked like I was a Maggies supporter. I sat there as quiet as a mouse (believe it or not) and didnt particularly even want to be there. Thats about all I remember from it...

i guess the ages of some people or the limited experience in following both Rugby League and Parra makes some sort of sense out of some of the attitudes or comments on this board.....

Would have been 1976, Parra V Cronulla at Cronulla, Can't remember a lot apart from throwing blue and gold streamers out on the ground that my dad had bought for me and not believing the size of this winger who ran down the sideline past me, was Neville Glover, i was just a small 6 year old lol
I didn't get to go to a lot of Parra home games as we lived in Sylvania and dad was a 1/2 Cronulla and 1/2 Saints fan

it was always a beautiful site seing nifty fly down the wing, I remember a cumberland oval game against the bears in 79 where he was streaking away towards me in the pool end/kings oval side of the field and dived in the corner and tried to emulate his feats in back yard footy! and lost alot of skin because of it
