I was a keen 5 year old but still I wouldn't be able to remember who came first, the chicken or the egg. You would transpose Imaginary Man Johns to play against Raudonikis in his prime and thought that Tommy would let him finish a game in one piece to prove who was the better . . . good luck with that.

Maybe I can contribute a little. Imo Mortimer was the best defensive, Raudonikis the most threatening, Langer the most spontaneous, Hastings the most courageous, Sterling the most inspiring, Johns the most talented, Cronk the most disciplined . . . find me a great #7 and I'll give you a superlative

How many careers of the blokes you picked did you see from start to finish Albert, I'd like to compare notes on the circumstances surrounding their contributuion

Thurston would rank higher than Cronk, Kimmorley, DCE and Gower. Especially if you factor in origin.

OP Fail.
Thread title says 60 years, yet OP has only included players of the last 30 odd years...strange?
Needs more Billy Smith.

Billy won as many premierships as Langer and Sterling but played more games for Australia when the Poms were good at it

How could Eddie Paea, Stu Galbraithe or Jeremy Smith Possibly be omitted. Not enough Paul Green TBH
