Time for the auditors to start looking for a second set of books at Manly

How is it that Canberra gets a fine, as pissy as it is, yet Manly are perfectly fine.

This would be because we don't have a second set of books nor have we breached the salary cap

dogs should be declared winners of the 2009 premiership

Beat me to it (although I realise the fines relate to 2008).

:lol::lol:

Yes, but by comparison The Storm hijacked a bus full of passengers, ran over 200 pedestrians, 20 coppers, drove over a cliff and smashed the main artery of the Bassgas pipeline.

Brilliant comeback! Suddenly simotwat is nowhere to be seen... :sarcasm:

 No they aren't you idiot! Why do you think there are different tiers of fines and penalties!

By your logic shoplifting and murder are the same

The extent of that which was exceeded and the penalties and fines that relate to that are more severe, yet still doesnt take away the fact that both instances were outside of the law whether its a little or alot.

Parra = Cheats

Parramatta are no different to the Storm. No different to the Storm.
as i said elsewhere..
A guy driving at 110 in a 100 zone is breakin the law as much as a guy driving 150 in a 100 zone.

Note the hipocrasy. Is it the same as in post 1, or different as in post 2?

Both are different. Parra's was a technical breach. Melbourne's was a full blown rort.

Brisbane want their 17k back.

THE WOW Brisbane Broncos will appeal a minor breach of the second-tier salary cap after it was handed notice of a $17,045 breach for the 2009 season yesterday.

Broncos’ chief executive Bruno Cullen said the club would fight the breach after some payments for under-20 National Youth Competition players, who work under their own cap, was also counted in the second-tier cap.

The NYC players had been used in the NRL after the Broncos went through a major injury crisis.

The NRL cap auditors have agreed the top-25 NRL salary cap was not breached.

“We are going to appeal the breach,” said Cullen.

“I’d like to explain that the Broncos have not breached the top-25 NRL salary cap.

“This breach notice has to do with a technicality involved with the second-tier cap where NYC players were used to fill in for injured NRL players.

Strip all those cheating teams of all their points!

The headline following the 2010 grand final no one would have picked

"North QLD win first ever Premiership"
In a Stephen Bradbury-esqu twist, all teams in the NRL except the Cowboys have been charged with salary cap breaches and were not able to contend the finals. 20,000 fans packed into ANZ Stadium to watch the Cowboys thrash the bye in an underwhelming grand final"

In the event of a forfeit, the other team kicks off and scores, or so it used to be. I wonder if Bani or Williams could screw THAT up

El Diablo,

The only thing established in this whole 7 page thread is that Simo is an idiot.

Don't even ask a question that might require a logical/smart answer, he won't be able to give you one!

Lol Boo Hoo! Cry me a friken river!

Strip us off our title for that year. Erase the fact that we came 11th from the history books ( i wouldn't mind actually).

Like i've said before, you spend an awful lot of time focusing on parra. I know we slaughtered you three weeks ago but gee, get over it already!

Your team made the GF the year after they cheated. That would suggest your playing with a ilegally assembled team.

cheats.

You did, you also made small boys cry cause the Storm are cheats.

Then you got fined for CHEATING. Which means your just like the Storm. CHEATS. As in, there was a rule you broke it and CHEATED.

Its simple. Eels fans now trying not to be the biggest muppets on here. The only saving grace they have is the Dragons also cheated and some of the muppetry on the Melbourne mini section by there fans is awesome.

This thread is terrible.

The Melbourne Storm secretly rorted the salary cap by over a million dollars.

The other teams missed a technicality deadline etc.

That's like driving a bus off the Grand Canyon compared to not stopping fully at a stop sign.
