Even though a Souths player at the time I felt sorry for him. He appeared to be the scape goat not including Cam Murray for their so called big names not performing. He also played at a crucial learning time of his career under a sacked coach who had a good squad competing for the wooden spoon. If Flanno can get the best out of him including a good kicking game we will be fighting for a top 4 position.

Not only may our appeal be improving. I reckon the player managers are now treating the Dragons as potential suitors rather than just a means to inflate the worth of their clients

The pieces of our recruitment puzzle are falling into place nicely, now we have a new halves combo that could manage the team for the next decade plus. Kyle is going to need to play out of his skin to retain his place next season, if not his old man will have a tuff decision to make.

If Flanno dont pick up his pack enforcer I say give Loko Jr a crack. This big lump of a Polynesian dude has power, exceptional ball skills and can tackle like a sledge hammer, assets lacking with our other big units, now and previously. Some saying ''not yet, he is too young". Phooey. Sometimes we see an exceptional sportsman/woman mature at a young age. In swimming there was Shane Gould and the Campbell sisters. In cricket we had Bradman then Ponting. Now Sam Konstas at a similar teen age has emerged. I put Loko Jr in that category. He looks born to play rugby league, along with his Aussie & Dragon team mates, Finau and Jake.

You never want to allow a young one to get hurt and damage his confidence but Flanno has been doing this for a long time. So I trust his judgement.
