I would say the only thing that will stop the Folau signing would be if Harvey Norman or any of the major NRL sponsors threaten to pull out ...that would end everything...beyond that its a done deal for him to play...

I disagree. It’s not only about winning. It’s about being proud of the players, proud of the club’s professionalism. It’s also about kids. The players behaviour and the club’s reputation is extremely important to me.
Kids look up to these guys, they are their heroes. Imagine you had a child coming to terms with their sexuality at a young age and their hero said their “kind” should burn in hell and it was wrong to be gay.
Same kid then takes his/her life.
This stuff happens.
