footy show

You never thought much of him to begin with, so of course this has not improved your opinion of him. No surprise there.

However, I had heard earlier this week that the appearance on the footy show was in regards to the dvd of Reg Reagan, and that might have been taped at the launch the other night. So are they advertising him "live" or just appearing.

So easy to read more into things than exist right now.

Well if he's announcing his decission on the footy show you have say to yourself that he's staying, surely he knows what sort of re-action he'd get if it was the other way? Regardless.

I would LMAO, if he said he was Union bound the the crowd cheered.

This is what is quoted on the Footy Show web site (http://footyshow.ninemsn.com.au/nrl/default.asp):

Andrew Johns will be LIVE on the show tonight to talk about his decision, staying with league or switching to union. Don't miss it!

I would be throwing the biggest party of the millenium!!!

I hope he goes... I have had no respect for the bloke for many years now, and this last week has been the final straw, he has screwed this club over way too many times now. I am sick of this man.

The sooner he leaves this club the better.

I can't believe how blind the club is at the moment, I mean in the paper today they said that they would lost about $1 million if he left, which is fair enough, but look how many people are annoyed with the guy?

GOOD BYE JOEY!

Plus in Union he won't always be the centre of attention. :D

Of course he would be (at least in Australia). Look at who the attention is on for the most part throughout the union season... Lote Tuquiri, Wendell Sailor and Mat Rogers. As if Johns isn't 122138129013 times the better player than all those outside back nuffy's.

As an aside, i'd laugh my head off if Lockyer turned around and signed with Union. It would be funny as shit. In some people's haste to crucify Joey for getting the best deal possible, they forget that Lockyer is bound to be on the same contract as him next year.

All of the people involved in this process of negotiation, the Knights' management, Joey, his manager, and the people from Union and the media are all people who understand the fine art of negotiation. At this level, it involves a lot of manipulation, whether you like it or not. This is a fact of business life. And this is business. It is not personal. It is business.

I don't understand if it is fair that the NRL prevents players from negotiating with other clubs before 30th June (and clubs from negotiating with players), why are they (the players) expected to commit before that time? Seems to be one sided to me.

I didn't mean what radio station. I meant who said it. After the roller coaster ride of the past week's i just don't trust "reliable sources" any more. Know what I mean. Let's not start the celebrations or whatever yet.
They said a person who rang up is involed with The Footy Show. They know who this person is and they are very reliable.

By leaking it early, you get more people tuning in to hear the story.

Might be a good way to hype it up even further.

Yes he is going on the Footy show to announce he's staying in league.

But it won't be with Newcastle.

I hope he does go so Hages can stop using him as an excuse for losing and finally be found out for the pretender that he is.

In saying that I hope he is going to Union. I'd hate to see him playing against us and one club man tag is one that would show the knights fans that he does have some respect for them.

Just say Lockyer does go to Union, I know for a fact he wouldn't screw the Broncos about.

The Broncos have offered him a fair contract & he doesn't accept it, they will get rid of him.

They will not get into a bidding war.

They had not problems in getting rid of Wally Lewis.

Johns will be on the footy show but he wont be making any announcements tonight.
At least thats what his manager has just said on Sydney Radio.
He spoke to Johns 45 mins before and even he(Joey) didnt know what he was doing.
