No mass changes. We had injuries that made us completely shuffle our side, and senior players frankly didn't stand up when needed. If we don't have that re shuffle and those senior players lift we will be more competive. We rely on our centres and wingers to help start the go forward. We lost a centre to injury and a winger to cover fullback. For 65 minutes we basically played with no winger. Talaki helped out immensely. But in that middle part of the game our senior back in Goodwin had to really stand up and he didn't. Sure he got a few consolation tries towards the end, but when the game was still alive we needed him to step up he didn't. Sutton also didn't come alive until the game was dead. Sam Burgess was a let down. People avoid the criticism but it has to be said. Many in here point at Clark and tyrrell, but they were more productive then Sam. Tyrell played 35 minutes, made 80m and 20 tackles, Clark played 35 minutes and made 80m 33 odd tackles, Sam played 71 minutes and made 105m 30 tackles with 5 misses. Productivity wise Clark and Tyrrell did more work per minute. Considering they replace each other the Clark/tyrrell combo made 160m and 50 tackles compared to Sam making 105m and 30 tackles with 5 misses in the same amount of time.
Turner played out of position and had to cover for inglis, you cannot drop a player for those circumstances. Musgrove was great. Tom missed a lot of tackles, for all the shit tyrrell and clark receive the are never going to miss 6 tackles in the middle.
