Rochow and Musgrove lifted there performance in the forwards when Sam didn't return. Turner isn't the type of player who makes metres very much a defences mind forward

Yet at that part of the match Turner was leading that defence, keeping roosters deep in the half meaning we were starting our sets past the 20 line and not coming off our try line.

Nearly all of those players are edge forwards. If Sam played for a team like the broncos, cowboys, storm he would easily be better than all of those guys on the edge. But no he has to carry our team from lock cause no one else can defend in the middle like he can.

I do think Sam has been better than merrin and Gallen at lock and his statistics prove it. Just look at them yourselves. Trbo is too young and inexperienced to be considered on sams level.

Gallen 175m per game 30 tackles
Merrin 155M per game 34 tackles
Sam 153 per game 34 tackles

Stats don't favour Sam at all.

Okay you've pulled up 1 lock who is statistically better than Sam over 3 games. The only other one you could pull up is jack de Belin. So you've successfully named two locks that are better than Sam at his position. Merrin and Sam are obviously on the same level. That's definitely not 10 forwards.
