I do think Cody wants to be there. It's just his contract is so small and he is living in Sydney where housing prices are an absolute joke. I think a decent upgrade isn't too much to ask for. I don't like the way he went about it either but it seems to be the new thing for all players in the NRL.

He agreed to the contract at the end of last year. If he wanted more money should of look elsewhere

I understand just look who you keep agreeing with lol a guy who doesn't understand how the salary cap really works and thinks it's just a easy fixs off releasing x amount of players and sign a bunch of superstars to replace them

Well we need to start the cleanout from somewhere mate otherwise we will be in exactly the same position.

Yeah Maloney is worth 900k. Cronk would be asking for 1.2 mil so it makes more sense to chase Maloney.

Shadow the players you mention are definitely not up to it.

Hopefully they will surprise us soon but I can't see it happening. Some just don't cut the mustard.

I can't see Maloney leaving Cronulla either Shadow and Souths til I die. I think he will sign long term with the Sharks. The Sharks will figure out a way to keep him.

Yeah walker is an absolute gun. It's been confirmed today that Reynolds is carrying a knee injury. Shadow I swear to god all our top players are glass.

Correct Souths til I die!!!! Can you see GI having an injury free run if he stays with us next season???? I can't. I think he will pick up more injuries. GI and AR are becoming problems tbh with you!!!!!!

I think Maloney will stay at the Sharks. Just say that happens do you reckon Souths would be interested in Townsend???? He seems like player that stays fit and plays similarly to AR. (Probably won't happen as Souths are backing AR st this point).


Just say we did by some miracle get Maloney well then unfortunately Souths til I die I think we would definitely lose Cody!!!!! That's what would happen.

I am not just agreeing with Shadow.

Souths til I die is making some very good points around here.

Of course it's not easy to fix the mess but you have to start somewhere as they say.

I know it's not just duds that are the problem. We have GI and AR who are made of glass!!!! We have twins that are playing like reserve graders. We have rejects other clubs didn't want who aren't up to it.

It's a big mess and the hunger is not there.

We do need another solid/good back besides Gagai though. If Gray is going then we need to find someone to replace him.

How much do we offer AJ is another question. You would not want to be offering him anymore than four hundred thousand a season.

Did you notice in a post on here I said we need to find cheapish players too that are a bit of a step up from what we have. Our recruitment have to pull their finger out.

Cody older, signed a contract agreed to the terms of the contract and now is demanding the club for more money. Hasn't really done anything in the game yet. And since not getting what he wants instead of proving his worth has played shit house the past two games by not caring in defence.

I definitely can relate to the points you make re Cody.

Yeah he signed a contract not long ago and how he is whining.

Well maybe he should've thought harder before he signed the contract with us.

I don't like the way he's handled himself either.

He also didn't try against Parra which wasn't on.



We just have to hope AR doesn't get injured as much. But currently his body is really struggling.
