No mate it was kerry stokes the owner of channel 7 that saved our bunnies bums . ...george piggins did put his house deeds up for a surety thru the court case though, and later on as you know rusty defeated george piggins in the vote for control of souths... then as you know russell crowe did buy the infamous 1908 bell but came in well after with peter holmes a court to buy their 37.5% share each of souths which rusty/packer own today but im not too sure about packers present standing at souths today ile have to ask my mate at souths that question? .....ile tell you a little story george piggins said to andrew denton and mike whitney to try and make an appointment to see kerry stokes from ch7 the owner but they all knew that would be hard to do.....so denton rang ch7 and his secretary answered then low and behold kerry took the call and said come over.....denton told them we were broke and kerry put up a 1mil surety the rest was history......another little story many dont know is that WA mining magnate twiggy forest helped fight our cause financially too so there you go mate.....Shadow.

The Bulldogs did go out on a limb for us remember that against the nrl?? and after that the bulldogs were copping all sorts of little back lashes from the nrl after helping souths out they were then being shafted in other areas of the game as well with bs calls against the other teams advantage i rightfully remember that!!!!..didnt the bulldogs attend one of our fund raisers??or they lent us one of their rooms at their club i cant remember what they actually did but i know they actually helped us out in so many other ways my mind is old and not so sharp but the bloody Bulldogs helped us out immensely.....Shadow...

when george piggins was at the proceedings at court a mate of georges whom is an elder mundine is a mate of mine also he use to come over to me just after souths got back in at the old sfs and tell me what had happened at court my mate only missed one court case apparently... he says his cousin anthony is a diiiiick head enough said... i remember charlie mundine he was the strapper at souths in those days he hardly got paid but was a very good souths man back in the days when he use to strap up mario fenech and the boys... i remember when the old reggie rabbit reggie fridd lived under the old grandstand on a single sized mattress he was the ground keeper i knew reggie well and saw him most days at the club reggie use to do everything and anything in those days he even connected the beer kegs below id suggest SSTID not many would know about that any way thats enough talk.......Shadow..

Firstly Souths fans should never forget that these ( 3 ) clubs / stmerge/broncos and manly all stood up in court and said why should Souths ever be allowed back into the nrl.Just remember stmerge stood up on ( 2 ) separate occasions in court saying why should souths be allowed back in the nrl then manly and the broncos said it only one time each in court.But the most important thing out of all of this is that all Souths fans should never forget that the Bulldogs were the only team out of all of the other clubs that did not tick the box against Souths to make a return to the nrl in the future for that we can thankfully and sincerely thank the Bulldogs board for being on our side in our time of desperate need Lest We Forget The Bulldogs ......Shadow...

I don't hate them because I can understand why they would want us gone. They had to merge themselves so I guess they thought it would only be fair if south Sydney perished and was taken over by another club. It's great that the Bulldogs stood up for us though! Class act!

Shadow could be busy with real life stuff it's only been a day or two I'm sure he'll be good mate!

Oi Shadow my Dad said geez Goodwin has been magnificent for us and he will definitely be a loss. My Dad said he could probably have went another 2 years with us. He said Hunt, Jennings etc..... will never be the player or reach the heights that Bryson did.

My Dad also said we should be bringing back Joe Burgess, look into getting Rona who is a similar player to Goodwin and we need to have a look at Mitchell were his words plus if we re-sign Rochow it doesn't mean much as he's a depth player.

r20 only the bulldogs supported us mate when the nrl sent out a letter to each clubs ceo stating would they be in support of a possible souths return in the future to re-enter the game again, well r20 the mighty bulldogs club were the only team that ticked the box for our possible return for the future all of the other teams declined to tick the box i think they were all nrl scared at that time id suggest.When you see george piggins or darrell bampton they were both at the coal face in those treacherous days its a fact mate i told you what george said about braith or any other souths player he said to me that easts wanted braith he said to me his nephew will not be going there over his d**d body and that was in george"s true words to me on that day.George then said we will be offering all or any players that the bulldogs wish to pick from 1ST FACTTTT ......Shadow.....

I just want to say if we can't beat the depleted Titans heads must roll.

12th place is on 6 wins and we are only on four.

Even a couple of wins and we are still probably in the bottom 4!!!!!!


The Knights got robbed the other night Shadow so really we should only be 1 win ahead of the spoon battle not 2 ahead!!!!!!


As I said I'm going to really fire up if we can't beat a second string Titans outfit in Sutto's 300th game in all grades for Souths!!!!!!

If the players can't lift for that kick em to the kerb for fug's sake.
