Rochow and Cherrington usually average decent metres per hit up, and are good enough for the interchange. Gray is a solid outside back but seems too injury prone. The rest of the players on your list are back up player level or reserve grade level players.

Question time:

1. My good friend at souths with over 5 decades of service and experience on and off the field stated to me just after 2014 that souths have lost the plot heading into the 2015 season and today i realize he was right but i never doubted him!!!

2. Souths bought luke kelly as a back up half for reynolds is this the best back up half that souths can buy?once again another abysmal failure by souths and their poor non existent recruitment team.

3. Souths buy two youngsters burns,and jennings and use souths junior talakai but these 3 players failed in 1st grade how can Souths again get it so wrong..

4. Why did Souths sign rochow and cherrington what have they achieved?and most importantly what will they both achieve in the future at souths?And most importantly why have we become so desperate to buy two washed up old hacks?

5. Souths are this week using david tyrrell against penrith for me its another huge back wards step by souths and its non existent poor recruitment team,Souths have tyrrell/clark/turner/rochow/and cherrington as our regular 1st grade prop/forwards for this year and with greinke and gosiewski waiting in the wings to get a start next year i just wonder how long will Souths persevere with mediocrity by this above list of mediocre 2nd grade props/forwards into the future?

6. And lastly like every loyalist souths fan/member its rather concerning to why or how such a mess has occurred after 2014? and it definitely defies natural logic that Crowe/Packer and co allowed this to happen remember we are on 13th position this season and come october we will definitely all be watching a STORM VS ? GRAND FINAL ...Shadow...

To your points.

1. It's called a premiership hangover. All clubs have gone through it.

2. Yes. We lost our back-up half to injury deep into the off-season. Options were limited at the time.

3. Young guys with less then 20 games between them aren't world beaters. Are you really serious with this one. They are young, Young players take time to develop

4. Cheap Depths signings become cheap depth players. We have gotten value out of them especially Cherrington.

5. We will stop using these so called 'mediocre props' when our high paid props, The twins, start producing. If the twins played to their pay checks then you could allow Musgrove to develop in his own time and only have to use one of the 'mediocre' group. But because the twins won't do their jobs, especially in defence, it means we have to play these players to cover for them.

6. Sam at any costs is what the fans wanted. It set back our rebuild after our premiership hangover. Just have to be patient now.

Burns and jennings need time we have thrown them in the deep end and expected olympic style they never played firsts before so i wouldnt and dont blame them
I blame whoever had the brain explosion to buy neilson
We dont didnt have much money so we bought cheap forwards hoping they would rise and cherrington hasnt gone too bad.
And tyrell should od been shifted after 2015
We havent been ruthless enough we sign youngsters that have promise but dont sign the really gun youngsters.
We have lost the plot like now 1 signing and 2 not ready hopfulls while we need first grade replacements for neilsen goodwin and gray
Replacements for tyrell etc etc

Shadow Something that I've noticed recently is the fact that our big name players haven't stepped up. When I saw manly sea eagles have a massive clean out I straight away thought f**k these guys are gonna be a bottom 8 team for years to come. Two years later they're a top 4 team again.

Manly based their whole team around big name recruits and players. DCE, Green, trbojevic brothers, Koroisau, Walker and Taupau. The rest of manly's roster could quite as easily be seen as duds. Sironen, winterstein, Kelly, uate pfft these guys were reserve graders last year.

What I'm trying to get at is the fact that Souths big name players in Adam Reynolds, Farah, Tom Burgess, George Burgess have all had below average seasons. We supply a significant amount of our salary cap to these players (bar Farah) and they have been some of our worst performers this year. The reality is that we're not going to be a premiership force until they all pull their fingers out and start playing good footy again. Plus we're sorely missing GI. Give me a metre eater prop and a fast winger for next year. We should be able to afford that with the salary cap increasing.

question: who in the broncos or storm or the cows team needs time what players??ile be waiting??......it seems to me r20 is that everyone has lost the plot not just our souths club please dont tell madge to give talakai and burns and jennings time they cant even play sure they play well in the u20""s but this is 1st grade remember i remember scotty wilson made his debut for souths i think he scored 2 tries on debut that day at brooky i was there and scotty got the winning try i think... then as im driving home with family after the game it said on the radio by frank hyde on 2sm that we were fined and lost 2pts because scotty wilson was under age and he was not registered for 1st grade or something like that but i even knew he was under age that day i was spewing we lost those 2pts that day....Shadow...
