Hold up. Young Burns has started I believe 4 games. Correct?? @ Oat Leche @ Manly Manly Manly v. Drugg Coast and @ The Coal Mine. He is 4-0 as a starter including 3 road games. Burns for mine is NOT a dud and a team can win with him as a starter. Heck he has PROVEN thus!!! He is of slender build but he shows aggression he has the height for jump and catch TDs he has a willingness to work for the forwards plus he has speed. I actually like the guy. Jennings too has had some degree of success as a starter including @ Manly Manly Manly. Talakai was played totally out of position. He needs to be in the back row unless he develops some speed.Question time:
1. My good friend at souths with over 5 decades of service and experience on and off the field stated to me just after 2014 that souths have lost the plot heading into the 2015 season and today i realize he was right but i never doubted him!!!
2. Souths bought luke kelly as a back up half for reynolds is this the best back up half that souths can buy?once again another abysmal failure by souths and their poor non existent recruitment team.
3. Souths buy two youngsters burns,and jennings and use souths junior talakai but these 3 players failed in 1st grade how can Souths again get it so wrong..
4. Why did Souths sign rochow and cherrington what have they achieved?and most importantly what will they both achieve in the future at souths?And most importantly why have we become so desperate to buy two washed up old hacks?
5. Souths are this week using david tyrrell against penrith for me its another huge back wards step by souths and its non existent poor recruitment team,Souths have tyrrell/clark/turner/rochow/and cherrington as our regular 1st grade prop/forwards for this year and with greinke and gosiewski waiting in the wings to get a start next year i just wonder how long will Souths persevere with mediocrity by this above list of mediocre 2nd grade props/forwards into the future?
6. And lastly like every loyalist souths fan/member its rather concerning to why or how such a mess has occurred after 2014? and it definitely defies natural logic that Crowe/Packer and co allowed this to happen remember we are on 13th position this season and come october we will definitely all be watching a STORM VS ? GRAND FINAL...Shadow...
