This player is Bobby BANKS,I reckon! I've watched him play for Qld & Aust.at the SCG.
He was one of my favourite players when I was a kid.
He played one season for Easts in the early 50s then went to QLD.

In Qld he played for Charters Towers,Newtown in Toowoomba,Waratah/Mayfield[Newcastle],Rockhampton,Cunnamulla,Cairns & Tully. ie.7 local clubs--6 in QLD..

He was born in Tumut,NSW.

BTW--Leon BOTT never played HALF or CENTRE in a 1st grade game--he was always on the wing!!!

He was,in fact,born in a Mexican town called Melbourne & is believed to be the first player of Ghanaian descent to play NRL.
He was good enough to make the Qld Residents & Qld Country sides as well as NRL!!
He is also a very good scholar,attaining a double Sport's Science Degree.

Actually the answer is correct.
Jackson is currently at his second NRL club in Manly.
He played both State U16 & U18--he also played Aust.Schoolboys.
