i reckon madges team selections let us down this year as far as i can see he fugged up big time by using kelly,moceidreke,talakai,burns and jennings in certain positions in certain games NFI MADGE,the farah/cook debacle unhinged us big time at #9 ....Shadow...Madge better buy 2 backs and 2 forwards of 1st grade standard for next year and hopefully siebold can help in our proper team selections when it is truly needed in 2018 because madge was clueless in 2017 .

Madunit fair enough the player that played only 1 game for souths in 1984 then signed on at easts and did not play 1 game in 1985 was Corey Adams, but i now have unearthed additional information that corey actually played 2 games for souths in 1984 then in the following year in 1985 he actually played 1 game for easts sorry for the shadowy info. Their seems to be a contradiction to how many games corey actually played but id go with the latter enjoy your sunday Madunit...Shadow...

I think if we made a few different positional changes on certain games we might had made the 8 although when we had a few injuries the likes of kelly/moceidreke in particular killed it for us and using talakai week after week was wrong then burns was a flop and jennings was a flop did we play nielsen?if so we know he is a flop then madge kept gburg out in the nsw cup by using duds clark/turner fug me why would you leave out an international for clark/turner fug me madge your a goose then the bs fug up by using farah/cook is a wrong move cook is the man farah is finished 1-2 yrs left only its best cook is #9 next year and robbie go to the ESL ......but even if we made the right selections and made the 8 id doubt we could win the big one .

I actually completely agree with you shadow. One of the Burgess' dropping was because of the use of illegal drugs however and that should definitely of happened. I reckon the backline decisions this year has killed us. Fuimaono has been one of our best centres all year and he's a second rower. Talakai is a second rower playing in centres for sure. Burns and Jennings aren't ready for first grade yet either. Hopefully that can change in the next year or two.

I feel for turner. He has had such a hard time in his rugby league career. He tries his heart out every week but he doesn't justify a spot in first grade with his numbers. Even cherrington puts out better numbers than that.

Reynolds has been in wonderland this year too shadow. Cody should never have moved from 5/8th too!

But I do know 284 players for Souths from 1980-1989 played just one game in that time.

I grew up in the bush, I don't know which reserve grade club a first grade player went to. That stuff isn't recorded anyway for me to find later either (and if it is, its very obscure and hard to find)

Question for Madunit: Who am i? ... p.s.if not sure have a guess ile be waiting...Shadow...

I don't mind St George at all but I never really saw them as a top 8 team. They don't have the spine to pull it off. Ben hunt going there will probably turn them into a top 8 team however maybe even top 4.

Paul SAIT checks all those boxes,I think--except the number of seasons played which was less than 14[10,I think].
He played in 2 p/ships in 70 & 71.
He played his best RL at lock,IMO!!

Luke Ricketson played 14 seasons[??]for the Roosters & satisfies all the criteria[I think]except he only played in one p/ship!!
