Staines had a fantastic second half until that drop. He's definitely a 1st grade fullback

The fact the tigers are a ramble that can't score points and basically have zero creativity yet that goose is picking Laurie in nsw cup whose been there best player and real only shinning light the last few years really sums up how bad there coaching is.

He offers creativity from the back that they simply need as a team.

Staines was good but I think he needs to string half a dozen to a dozen games like that together before one could say he's definitely a fg #1.

The tigers will do what they do best and let Laurie go.. he'll get picked up by Melbourne or parra or someone and carve up...

Part of our secret sauce is the fitness and conditioning management team at the academy. Kik's and Api have looked gassed since they left here. Peachey has lost weight and looks fitter. The Storm are the same. They work players incredibly hard and they nearly always improve new players.

Then of course, when players leave us or the Storm, they don't seem to be as good.

That’s a lot of $$$ lost for only a few players being upgraded so far. Hence I laugh at Fox Sports saying it’s between Edwards and Luai - both will stay and the proof is literally in these lists put forward as to why and how they’ll stay.
