Former Panthers in the NRL

Manly are deadset down hill skiers. Only look good against shit opponents. The comments around Manly announcing themselves in the coverage really cracks me up. I thought you were there to win the comp from the get go, not just to look good against poor teams.

The media have been desperate to make out Manly as contenders for years despite the fact they've had nothing for most of that timeframe, it's hilarious how they go on about them sometimes.

So hope CHN is okay, one of my favourite former Panthers.

I have had to care for a family member that has suffered seizures.
A few times I have had to catch them as they fell to the floor, so they wouldn't hit their head on the hard floor. You think everything is ok and then out of the blue it happens. No warning.
Once I had to administer meditation to stop a cluster. That was heartbreaking to do.
It is a f**ken terrible thing to witness first hand. Let alone what they are suffering.
I wouldn't wish it on anyone. I hope he is ok.

I witnessed a two hour seizure, and I am not exaggerating. The medical staff worked their arses off to stabilise my friend, eventually their hard work paid off. It is frightening, and distressing, to watch.

I'm not sure Cam Ciraldo can coach. The way he's using Burton is absurd. Playing him in a Cleary/Cronk totally structured halfback role.

I've been thinking the same, I wonder if there is pressure from above like from Laundy to play the young kid at 6. He has shown in the past he thinks his sponsorship dollars give him the right to have a say.

Should have just stuck with Flanno playing a very basic field position game plan.

They are paying the price from chasing every big name off contract and getting a team full of plodders or luxury players without getting the foundation right. TPJ, JAC, Kikau and Burto are a waste of the cap the way they are set up now. Critta won't save them next year either. Should have spent the money on hard workers and a few metre eaters. Then one player like the ones they signed.

Really not suprised.. I knew he'd struggle.

Burton has done nothing his whole time at the dogs..

You were certain he'd blitz it but he's been avg or below avg at best..

Can use all the excuses in the world but so far the best he's looked in his whole career is a as a ball running centre..

Ive always thought a running lock, edge 2nd rower or centre was his best spot.

Other than a huge boot he really struggles when needing to ball play. He's running game is his best attribute and he loses that in the half's. Especially without a very dominant 7.

Unless they sign someone like hunt he will continue to struggle

Still has more try assists than either Cleary or Luai......

Burton would have been the best centre in the comp if he stayed here, now he looks like an average 5/8 at best. I guess going from the Panthers to the Bulldogs doesn’t help but yea not the best start to his post panthers life.
He had to take the big money and he's still gone on the play for NSW and Australia.
I have no doubt he'll be the NSW 6 sooner or later

He's been avg. Imo Cody is the best 5/8 in nsw.. close to the best half tbh. But he's old and won't get picked.

Nicho will get picked in the 6 before Burton.
