Waqa was always lazy. He could have been anything. DWZ I liked, but he was a hothead.

Kinda feel Crichton is really at that tipping point at the moment in his career, granted Crichton has plenty more runs on the board in terms of big plays.

Waqa never worked to improve his flaws though.

In 2020 Waqa gave Critter a complete bath in the one regular season loss.

Critter has never looked that bad in defence again.

Waqa is legitimately somewhat responsible for our 2022 premiership due to not getting his catching upto a first grade standard after 150 odd games.

To be fair he never should have been picked on the wing by Brad Arthur. Lamb to the slaughter.

Critter was thrown out to the wing in 2021 and came up with a clutch defensive play in all three finals wins.

An outside back with 150 games should be able to catch a bomb or atleast get in a position to do so. Waqa was a deer in headlights and afraid of the ball in the air.

I agree but the coach should already know if he is capable or not. It was a terrible decision.

Of the group that left in 2019 Waqa has been the most disappointing. RCG has been good for Parra, DWZ some success.

There shouldn't be any changes at fullback now Doueihi is injured. Laurie also appears to be done at the Tigers.

He's still the best 9 in the comp. He's plays too fast for his new team mates. So many times he's make a smart play from dummy half look up and have no one in support
