So you've already called the election to Labor , haha
that'd be news to Dom Peritot

& the NRL was fortunate was it ?
🤣 🤣 🤣

It goes against trend.

Lets see

Nurses
Doctors
Ambos
Teachers
General public all wanting money

So yes the stadium spend already is a great deal.

No way $800m gets spent for a while. Brisbane Olympics will force their hand as another city can take the big events.

By that stage Accor will be roughly the same age as SFS was when it was torn down

nsw stadium strategy is such a failure lol. All that money spent and we still don’t have a world class national large rectangular stadium in the country. Maybe the feds should build one.

I want one but in theory how many times would it be needed?

In regards to nrl, possibly 2 state of origins, 3 finals games and a GF, 10 home games to bulldogs, possibly a few more for tigers and souffs, and any international events...
Then you have other codes, festivals/concerts.. if it was rectangular it would be a far better experience purely coz you'd be closer to the field, and if its roofed, a lot more folk would fill the seats for the weekly/fortnightly games.. its worth doing, but i would prefer the other areas of NSW fixed first, Penrith, Win stadium, Brookvale and possibly campbelltown, if the tigers can play there for most of their season

Comp games shouldn't be at Accor.

This year you had Soccer, SOO, GF, Concert. well should of been 2. So you have 5 events. I guess you would keep Good Friday game there.

Most of those you listed are better off with the 45k seater SFS, 45k seater SFS, 30k Commbank and 30k Penrith due not needing to be in such a big stadium.

You will never get it totally Rectangle because AFL will make sure of it

If International events are held somewhere...It is a world class venue.
You seem to misunderstand the definition of class! Just because it’s big doesn’t make it class. international events are held there because it’s the biggest stadium in sydney and can sell most tickets, that doesn’t mean it’s good.

No club games unless proper intimate mode.

beldisloe, union and soccer internationals, origin, finals, gf, travelling epl games, nrl games, concert Etc

Wembley isn’t used by clubs but is still justified as every country should have a decent national stadium.

No where have I said it is good.

What I have said is given the criteria it is the best option to host the RU WC final.

If they lower the seating requirement.
Suncorp or SFS become better options again

Very Few RU games can fill it. Much better with the 45k stadium for a lot of those things.

Hence why it is good to leave it until later

No

No it’s not

you know that one stand at accor is closer than the other ?

have you actually ever been there ?
Been to wembley twice and accor about a dozen times. So yes I know what the difference between the two's viewing is!

hahaha
oh what utter nonsense
they're held at venues with a host of factors contributing , the most economically sensible venue first off the rank .. that can be, but not always be determined by the quality of the facilities including the overall experience a venue provides . Accor is a dog & the local fans in all sports agree it is , but will endure it for marquee events .
That doesn't make it world class
The MCG is held with enormous regard & esteem far & wide & it doesn't seem to matter if its a rectangle sport played on it or not ..rightly or not it is beloved & has a reputation accor could only dream of.
It is world class , like Wembley is
Accor world class .. phhhhtttt yea right.
