We just had our leader talk up 10k crowds and talk down a 42k stadium. Take off your rose coloured glasses for a second and think to yourself what other sports administrator would say these things

That is the part I don't get. Sydney will have 3 brand new shiny Stadiums... In what world is that not a win?

Yes the other stadiums need something but you can discuss a time frame later

deals to use new SFS and that too

Govt can make it very difficult if they want too, NRL will know that.

Maybe the new Feds get involved too.
South’s are relying upon the arlc to negotiate a deal which allows them to break the lease at accor and move to the new sfs

That’s fine. Again though why should he say the SFS is insignificant and that 10k crowds are great

RL is full of agenda's atm his is to get suburban grounds funding. Whereas the governments is elsewhere.

Penrith has been funding and going ahead, Given they aren't doing more than 1 at the same time. There is time to get the public onside

Which is the height of hypocrisy from the horses for courses clowns in govt ,
how is the 400 mill there not better spent too ?

Anyway , Labor said yesterday they're not ruling out scrapping that as well ... under the same guise , money better spent.

Yea , lets not call them on building extravagant over the top venues for eastern suburbs snobs who don't follow RL rather then fix up homebush ( the first plan) for RL's eventual benefit. Who chairs the SCG again ? oh yea former boss of the GWS wannabees who did not want homebush " rectangularised " because his little fumbling abortion wouldn't be able to use it once a year.
a commbank sized venue at moore park was all that was needed & the 600 mill not spent there , could have just about got RL what it needed. Vlandys is quite right to expose this shit for what it is

I fully expect the Penrith upgrade to be scrapped (it it's scrappable) should Labor get in next year, which they seem likey to with the disasaster that Perrotet is proving to be.

Nurses and teachers are their bread and butter. With all of the industrial action that's been going on you can expect a huge funding swing to that sector.

If all we end up with after all this is commbank (brilliant stadium) and sfs (not needed) then it’s an epic failure for the nrl. Govt’s like big shiny things to show off, tarting up LO and shark park was never going to be a big prize for a liberal govt. stupid strategy by Vlandys.

Yeah I am not too confident it goes ahead.

Not just nurses, Train strikes today, Teachers have their strikes on going.

So given neither side will fund the stadiums right now, Nor will any other state in Australia. Where to now is the question.
