I think a new state of the art Parramatta Stadium is the one we really wanted and needed anyway isn't it. That will be a big win for the code. If all WS clubs play out of it then it should be a huge boost for crowds, memberships and atmosphere at the games.

I'd kinda hope one outcome might be scaling back the size. Do we really need 70-75k? I'd be fine with 60k tbh, better atmosphere for the majority of games out there. Bigger isn't always better.

As long as youre ok with super f*cking expencive Origin/GF tickets...

Take away 25k seats and the prices for the big games will skyrocket

They'd be better spending $600mill pulling down Allianz and building a 35k-40k modern stadium in its place for souths, Roosters, Tards, Dragons and Sydney fc to use. f**k anz and its sht atmosphere. Leave it for the big events.
Bulldogs, eels, Wests and wanderers into the western Sydney stadium.
4-5 tenants in each stadium is good return for the tax payers money.
the outer fringe clubs can plod along in their suburban grounds.

I reckon the best situation is Parra and ANZ as they have been promised (ANZ has so much transport infrastructure, that would be a f*cking shame to lose) and ditch Moore park.

Find somewhere closer to Central and build a 20k seater...

I find it extremely hard to believe the ANZ construction estimators were out by nearly double.
Inflation is running about 2%,are they planning to have Argyle Diamond studs on every flipping seat?

I smell a rat,a deceptive agenda driven rat behind this figure.
We need Parramatta and we need a reconfigured ANZ, not a you beaut new stadium at Moore Park,to keep the SCG Trust happy.

With one team playing out of it? Can't see how it's a big win.

You'll never get Canterbury or Penrith in particular playing full time there. Never happen.

They would of been better off tearing down All three stadiums (anz,pirtek,Sfs) and building a 65k stadium at parramatta and a 50k stadium at Moore park. Also a brand new 30k stadium at Campbelltown.

50k - 70k is the right size for a rectangular stadium anything more and your too far away. 50k is perfect for Brisbane.

Why have 30k stadium in parra and a 70k stadium 10 minutes down the road? One 60-70k stadium would do the trick.

Wests need to move out to CB permanently and would be awesome for them to have a new 30k stadium their instead of parra.
