Don’t need to read the preceding 1178 pages. This is why Sydney will never sort out it’s NRL stadiums. What a joke.

When the chairman and none other than Don Nick needs to have his say on the issue, you know the Roosters are worked up over it all. You barely hear a peep out of him. Well done Souths.

Interestingly, the Souths shop has a banner with Sutto walking towards the SFS slogan 'Home is where the heart is.' They're just loving the troll at the moment.

I doubt Souths will want to play in a venue which has 'Home of our most despised rivals' slabbed across the walls anyway.

Considering Politis' comments were on an official Roosters podcast, and then picked up and run with by Fox Sports/New Ltd I don't think it is that big an issue. Fact is Souths have been the ones moaning and groaning about it in public.

Also the Roosters looked closely at any leasing agreements before they signed it. They didn't sign any long term agreements to play at a venue contingent on some unspecified, non-written "promise" of an upgrade to the venue which was not included in the lease agreement in the first place (or at least a get out clause).

For many years Leichhardt has been a novelty and it's actually hurt our club. It was never a fortress even when we were doing well.
There’s not much better than a Sundee arvo game at Leichhardt but I’ve also been there for wet, muddy night games with a dismal 3k-ish in attendance. I think you’ll need your older demographic to die off before the club frees itself from there for good. Is the club looking to host a few Allianz games? That could help.

I don't know what the plan is for next year. Will probably be a jumbled mess as usual. Problem with Leichhardt is it's not older fans that are the problem, a lot of them are younger fans thinking it's a "tradition". Also, I think a lot of the people that turn up to Leichhardt aren't real rugby league fans and just looking for something to do on a Sunday afternoon.

Maybe the solution for the Tigers is to play half the games at Campbelltown, and half the games either at Allianz or Commbank.

Tigers could get corporate support at either Allianz or Commbank, and has a better chance of getting funding at Campbelltown with MacArthur FC as co tenants.
That makes way too much sense...

Can't see Justin and Lee making a sensible decision like that.
