well if this Foley dope says no to ANZ then the NRL should come out and say that if you are stupid enough to vote for him then Sydney will never get another GFThere’s definitely a concern that Foley could cancel the ANZ development, hopefully the govt are smart enough to get the contract signed before the election. That said Foley would risk a backlash from the NRL and the grand final agreement would be null and void. If he lost the GF he’d look pretty foolish. I don’t think we’d see Sydney lose the GF on a permanent basis but 1 in 3 years could happen.
Now that ANZ isn’t getting renovated why can’t they just construct the new stadium nearby so it can still be used until the new one is finished? There’s enough room around Olympic Park and it can be done if you look at Tottenham’s new stadium as an example.

Which train stop do regional supporters from the Central Coast/Newcastle change at to hop the the Metro ?
I honestly don’t know, the stops for the Parra to CBD line haven’t all been decided.

But you said the ground capacity for the 2000 GF was 110,000 not 112,500. If going by the ground capacity being 110,000 and about 4,000 seats being taken way it would make the capacity about 96,000 and the game got 94,277so not a sell out but getting very very close to capacity, curious to know whether the ground capacity in 1999 was 110,000 at the ground as the crowd figure was listed as 107,999.
RD is a cretin but 110,000 - 4000 = 106,000 and the ground was nowhere near full that day.
Depends on the route.
There are 4 options being looked at.
One of the 4 involves a 15 min journey between the CBD and Parra with 5 stops. This option is not preferred because it has limited capacity for value capture. It will stop at both Norwood and Stratifield.
Two other options would likely include a new interchange at Strathfield North or Concord West.
Unfortunately a north of the harbour route crossing approximately following Victoria Road has not been ruled out and this would exclude Olympic Park. It would also be extremely cost ineffective because room for development is so limited and requires a harbour crossing. It is absurd that this option has not been totally ruled out.
Cool video on the new NQ stadium.
ROFL.... the new NRL centre of excellence ...
Perhaps a dumb question, any chance of stray crocs near mangroves?
