Will be, by far, the best small stadium in Oz.

I hope this proves that the future of Sydney clubs are in centralized stadiums...

I hope it also disproves the moronic idea that centralized stadiums doesnt just mean “current suburban ground VS current big stadium”. You can actually organise with a group of clubs and get funding for a NEW stadium that satisfies everyone.

Feel free to start a thread in 4C if it bothers you enough to argue about.
I don't want to argue about it at all, I just noticed that you constantly tell people to back up statements with fact but when someone questions a statement YOU made you have nothing except a deflection to start a thread in 4C. I just assumed that you had personal experience to make such a statement without backing it up with facts.

I used my opinion about defence spending as an analogy, while also noting that despite my disagreement, I accept that is how the government prioritises its spending.

The point was to illustrate that governments assess and enact budgetary priorities to their whim, and not everyone will agree with them. In the same way many (probably even most) might not agree with me.

yep. first footy ground i’ve ever been able to buy sushi at the concession stand as well.......

Mate we had red rooster for a while.
We also get a few different food trucks in the ground.
I don’t eat but my son does.
He comes back with all sorts of food you wouldn’t expect at the footy.
Full pepperoni pizzas
Sliders
I’m pretty sure he has got sushi as well.
Food wise Shark park has come along way.
Out sourcing it was a great move.

I look at that and just can’t see how the bulldogs could resist moving there, ditto the tigers for more of their matches. The only thing getting in the bulldogs way would be politics. Let’s give ANZ stadium the flick.
100% agree although I'd want to at least attend a game there first from a Bulldogs perspective.

At the moment I think WT's breakdown is 4 Bankwest 3 LO 3 Ctown, with 2 alternate market games. It wouldn't surprise me if that shifted to 6 Bankwest 2 LO 2 Ctown (if they choose to persist taking the 2 games elsewhere), or if they bring all games back to Sydney, then 8 Bankwest 2 LO 2 Ctown.

BS about unusable eh? Mate even a parliamentary committee which examined the whole shebang found -

"Finding 5 - The committee is convinced that the safety and security concerns identified at the Sydney Football Stadium are of significance and require immediate attention.
Finding 6 -The committee finds that the safety and security concerns at the Sydney Football Stadium support the case to proceed with the demolition and rebuild of the stadium facility in the Moore Park precinct."

So if you doubt it, go read the report - https://www.parliament.nsw.gov.au/lcdocs/inquiries/2483/Final report - Sydney stadiums strategy.pdf
You mean the same government that wants to build a new stadium, paid for a committee to give reasons why they should build a new stadium.

I’m hopeful fans will love it so much the clubs won’t be able to resist. We just haven’t ever had something this good in Sydney, expect it’ll blow some socks off.

Obvious location for Panthers week 1&2 finals games too.

I think this will be great for the Tigers.

Merger politics has stopped the club from committing to a single location and developing a regular audience. LO and CO both need to be treated equally, but i think the club admin knew they were just not up to NRL standard (why the persisted with SFS and ANZ)

I think WSS will be able to cut through the middle and satisfy both sides (keeping a few LO and CO game, treating them like special heritage event matches).

(Ive said before, the way for WTs to REALLY take advantage of WSS would be to sell the Balmain share to Wenty Leagues. Ashfield have said they dont want full control, so considering proximity, Wenty makes sense if they want it. At a stretch, just looking at the map, maybe Blacktown or Ryde would be interested too)

Won't Wenty's direct affiliation with Parra stand in the way of that?
