You'd alienate significant portions of the fanbase, public transport would be a nightmare from large parts of Canberra, and Seiffert isn't exactly in the best spot anyway.

If you were seriously going to build a stadium in Queanbeyan then the Showground or Central Park would probably be the best place for it, not a across the river at Seiffert.

Come on you Viking heads get off your arses and make it happen. Nothing great happens without blood, sweat and tears. You need to learn to fight and fight hard.

The first stage doesn't go anywhere near Bruce (black line on the map below).

Stage 3 (IIRC) will be the line that goes to Belconnen, through Bruce. Current plans have the line going up Haydon Drive around the front of Calvary hospital, which is within easy walking distance of the stadium.

However there are plans for an alternate route where the line would go around the back of the hospital and directly past the stadium, and there's still support for it to go that way, but the argument against it is that GIO and the AIS Arena are going to be replaced so you don't need the line to take the longer route past the AIS.

The blue line is the planned route, the red line is the alternate that would go directly past the stadium.

Pretty much sorts Sydney out, Kogarah was never getting an upgrade for 6 games a year.

Dragons can continue as is or make the call to ditch Kogarah. Would a 8/4, 9/3 or 10/2 Wollongong/SFS split work? Play Sharks and a couple other ‘derby’ games at SFS each year.

I think it does, given the size of Western Sydney, the new airport and the continued growth. Western Sydney, Liverpool and Penrith would mean three 25/30,000 seaters used by RL and A-League clubs plus concerts, etc.

I think we need all our stadiums to get to the point of being modern venues. The 3 Queensland stadiums and the 1 in Melbourne make the Sydney stadiums other than Western Sydney and the SFS look like a completely different competition.

I'd give them a 9/3 split. Play Sharks, Souths and Easts at the SFS.

Play everybody else in the Gong.

Thought Kogarah may get a guernsey on the back of Syd FC playing their smaller drawing games there as well

I don't understand how anyone can justify creating a brand-new stadium in Liverpool when the stadium in Campbelltown is an existing structure right next to a train station and has ample parking facilities and thriving venues around it.

Wests could use it for 7 games a year (3 at LO, 1 in Brisbane for magic weekend and 1 in Tamworth). The FFA and Bulls have shown interest in upgrading the place as well.

thats right , so it needs to be built closer to dogs territory if they're both using it . Couldn't care less about the bulls , theres womens NRLW sides with more fans then them.

20kms to the south west smack bang in middle of Campbelltown is not the spot for a joint venture venue
