The Game Future NRL Stadiums part II

I pointed out earlier they spent heaps expanding the club over the last 2 years. It’s staying. They have Wynumn juniors club house at Kitchener which really could do with lots of work. I’d say that’s the next aim. Make that club more self sufficient. Given their is really only the RSL and Waterloo bay hotel close to Wynumn central. I can’t see how that wouldn’t be a winner.
I know the Leagues Club on Wondall Road is staying. I am hoping the club creates a second major Leagues Club and pushes for an NRL licence in 2027, with the aim to become the biggest club in Queensland. Redcliffe and Wynnum are the two biggest BRL clubs with a strong rivalry. It would be great to extend that rivalry to the NRL.

It would be great if the QRL revolted against the ARLC and worked with the Queensland and Victorian Governments to make it illegal for the Sydney-centric NRL to operate in Queensland and Victoria.

At the risk of entertaining absolute horse shit and being caught by someone fishing …

yeah it would be great if we killed off the strongest Rugby League competition in the world and remove the biggest Rugby League market in the world.

Let the Sydney Bears into the national comp so that Sydney is represented (possibly becoming the equivalent of the Broncos) also then a few years later allow the Sydney based clubs to apply to the national competition and accept the best 3 applicants and the rest can stay in the Sydney comp.

no one under 60 actually lives in the city though.
Going back to this.
This is true of the east end of Newcastle but that is a very small area. A central newcastle team should represent Stockton, Hamilton, Wickham, Cooks Hill, Merewether.
Also don't forget the University is essentially taking over the city, so uni kids will take over that area of town in the next decade.
Going to a friday night lights Newcastle Lions game at No 2 and then hitting the town would be the go.

Yea ok,

500 million to go .... on what & where ?
Lets hope they're not going to waste 100 mill on the roof at homebush & if they do , its extra to the 500 mill

They will wait until SFS done then move that construction crew on to the next job. That was the reason for the change in plan but will be Brookie next. Then probably smaller amounts to other grounds

I'd invite the the affluent South Sydney Rabbitohs, North Sydney Bears, Sydney Roosters and Parramatta Eels into the national competition. The housing commission areas of western and southern Sydney need to be barred because they will dissuade high end companies from becoming sponsors. We don't want any peptide users or white supremacists (IE. Cronulla) giving the rest of us a bad reputation.

I like these criteria. Though I would punt the Roosters but allow the Dragons so long as they relocate to SFS.

.....

ROFLMAO. Know why the QRL haven't done that? Simple it would breach so many sections of the Commonwealth Constitution and trade practice law that they know it would not survive even a cursory court challenge.

ROFLMAO. You'd ignore both the Canterbury Bulldogs and Penrith Panthers who are amongst the most affluent of clubs?!

Surely you know if you have more than one device (laptop, PC, ipad etc). You need to work that out before I can help.

not that I am always logged into, I go into here on the work laptop on incognito mode. Not sure if that affects it
