Why not limit the trust to the scg and put the new stadium under the SMC?
Does away with the members seats issue. The MCC Trust didn't get to run AAMI when it was built.

I's say its because the SFS is on SCG parkland(?), and AAMI is already run by a different trust.
The MCG is in Yarra Park, and AAMI is in Olympic Park and run by Melbourne & Olympic Parks Trust (MOPT) (along with Melbourne arena and all the tennis venues)

Best way to get change is for people to get involved in their local labor branches then. There’s many cities & states in the USA that essentially operate as a single party democracy, the real vote happens in the primaries not the general election.

they raised the stadium area by a fair bit because it’s very close to the Ross Creek. If they get a king tide it’ll be touch and go though........

They opened the dam gates about an hour ago so fingers crossed the stadium is alright.
