This thread has been going nuts since all the miserables got triggered that the Sharks are rumoured to be getting some money.
I've said it many times elsewhere and I'll say it again that all the morons come out of the woodwork to flap their gums with bile whenever our club is mentioned.

Nah, since Adelaide sharkey joined the forum. he’s only 400 posts in and has managed to derail pretty much every thread he’s got involved in. It’s a fair record lol.
So you expect me to just cop you and your minions constantly shitcanning my club?

FMD, you'd have to be the biggest snowflake I've ever seen.

Back to stadiums despite the politics of it great to see Penrith get an upgrade.

Once we've got Shark Park, WIN Stadium, Canberra, Brookvale and the Warriors sorted we're in business.
Can $800m cover Penrith Football Stadium, Wollongong, Brookvale, Leichhardt, Kogarah and Endeavour?

There wouldn't be much that could be done with Kogarah, Endeavour or Leichhardt.

A renovated Brookvale assists rugby union and the Shute Shield.

I’d rather see manly get a brand new stadium than “doing up“ three or four. We need every club in state of the art venues if they are to have a future in the top tier of the game.

Wollongong Stadium just needs the eastern terrace to be fitted with seats and a roof. Dragons could split games between the SFS and Wollongong. A new Brookvale would probably get RU games involving the Waratahs and Shute Shield games.

That would certainly be a good option for dragons. Sorted gong with 8 games there and 4 big derby games at sfs.

$300mill to penrith
$90mill to Gong
$220mill manly new stadium
$125mill anz
nrl and givt to go halves on 30k stadium for dogs and tigers.

thats all Sydney clubs sorted Except sharks and apparently they are happy to stay where they are.

Tbh why should anyone in Sydney be listening to you?

You don't live in Sydney nor are you even Australian.

A Pom from f**king Perth telling Sydney how to solve Sydney issues is f**king hilarious.

How about we move Hull KR, Wakefield or Castleford to Derby, Southampton or Birmingham then?

Craven Park, Belle Venue and the Jungle make most Sydney suburban grounds look brand new in comparison.

Most English RL grounds are ten times more shit than ours are.

You do realise Manly & Warringah are separate Shute Shield clubs right?

All of the Shute Shield clubs bar West Harbour at Concord play at grounds where there's very limited seating.

Both those clubs (which are arch rivals) are not that far from Brookvale so which one would be moving there?

If the transport to/from the game is frequent, efficient & reliable, and the stadium is comfortable to sit in, with great viewing angles & close/steep grandstands, then WHY won't the fans go to those stadiums?
Which stadiums fit this category?

A new stadium at brookvale would be the absolute prime example of wasted money. Who else would use it ? Where is the parking going to be and how the f**k do you get there?
I've mentioned in a few seperate threads before, if they were to do it right, it needs to be completly new and near Chatswood, brookvale doesn't have the parking room or transport available to get larger crowds due to its locality

Somebody piped up earlier and said rugby union's Shute Shield. No idea how that would work when Manly & Warringah are separate clubs in that competition.
