Since watching cricket in the mid '90s, the only one that I remember who were mainstays in the side were Javagal Srinath and Zaheer Khan. Srinath was a very good fast bowler. Other than him, there have been a plethora of quickies from India that have been repeatedly in and out of the side, and then vanished into cricketing obscurity since then.
