I haven't heard what Bogle has said - but for me the issue is about teams having referrals, I don't see why it can't be used like umpires use TV for run outs, if they are unsure, they are the ones that refer (rather than players) and they confer with TV umpire - downside is that would possibly lead to more referrals - but not sure the present system is right

i don't think you should lose a referral when it comes back umpires call and it's not in your favour
