would love the club to release quinn (injury prone and only a winger) and lowrie (too small and makes too many errors) in order to sign some more forwards. i know quinn is on a lot as he renewed his contract when he was on the wing and scored 2 tries for nsw in an origin. at least lowrie has only 1 yr left on his deal so we can cut him end of next yr but would prefer to let him go to get some journey man forwards as depth

I would keep Quinn for next season...the backline will be young and needs some experience along with Slater when the games are close. He also takes a bit of pressure off the forwards by taking the ball up on first or second tackle on occassions.

Lowrie is fine...not flash but does his job and I would keep him.

Vea is staying and was in the initial 27 man squad named.

Not sure who the 2 players are but I believe we had been talking to Maurice Blair and Nigel Plum so could be one or both. Waqa will be given the preseason to see if he can get his fitness and form to a level for the 30 spot.

Don't know much about him but he can play at centre or lock which will give depth to both of these positions with Stanley being injury prone and Hoffie moving on.
