. Not really that concerned with Gal's fitness at all, hope he gets to play one more GF however unlikely that seems. He's still a machine

His hit-up metres gained is what sets him apart from other forwards.

He’s a bit maligned about it now but go back 10 years & he was virtually unstoppable & always dragged in 3 & 4 defenders to pull him down.

Frenzy.

Sorry for the thread hijack but amongst all the talk of Morris being one of the youngest coaches ever my research has revealed that Cap Pierce was only 31 when he took overr the Sharks.

Probably did it for a sausage roll and can of coke as payment back then. Sharks had NO money

Can we make it 9 Coaches? I have a story to share.

About 2004 (not exactly sure) we upset the Broncos in Brisbane.

We were in the dressing room after the game and I asked Gal if we could have a quiet chat.

I said “Gal, well played today Mate, just a couple areas to work on (he was playing 5/8) - left to right passing, kicking game and positional play for the outside backs.”

He laughed and said “I didn’t play today!”

Hahaha

Who did play?

Was it the day Daniel Dumas played 5/8 outside TTG?

I have ET at No1. Gal at 2.
Then the rest of our greats. Peach and Steve Rodgers left us to play with other clubs. That’s the difference to me. I didn’t move my support to another team in the dark Anderson,Raper,Stuart years.

Either was Sir Thomas of the Bishop.

I still love all thangs Tommy Bishop. My greatest.

Sludge did a Fergo. I still remember him being interviewed where he said he wanted to go to a club which could win a comp.

Legend of a player but not my No1 Sharky.

Gal becomes the most capped player this weekend....
I read in the game day thread that if the Sharks lose he becomes the player with the most losses ever
For ours, and his, sake I hope only one "celebration" occurs
