Gallen = Overrated?

Kade Snowden and Luke Douglas both average 100m+ and 28+ tackles a game.

Luke Douglas is a good young player but Snowden is rubbish did you see him play the Dragons this year? He kept getting absolutely smashed every hit-up by Weyman.

Young makes Ennis look like Steve Edge.

Creagh is a decent player but is a pea heart. On the biggest stage he took off like a mouse who'd just seen an Eagle swooping. I can't recall ever seeing anything like it from a bloke his size before.

On the plus side, he'd be a God in AFL.

Gallen is top shelf.

Just admit you're a biased Saints fan and piss off.

I don't know who is Steve Edge is.

Creagh is very tough, runs hard, tackles hard.

Why talk about AFL? Everyone is biased, anyone will admit that.

Why can't you understand? Gallen is the only forward who does any work at the Sharks so that's why he makes so many metres and tackles (also missed tackles and errors); if you combined all the forwards stats at the Dragons (they work together not just by themselves like Gallen) their stats would be greater.

Mate, you are going to have to dig a f**king huge hole in a minute.

State of Origin 2, 2010
P. Gallen
Hit ups - 11 (next best was 9 by TLL and LOD)
Tackles - 19
All runs - 14 (second most for NSW behind Hayne)
Metres made - 112m (2nd best behind Hayne of course)

State of Origin 3, 2010
P. Gallen
Hit ups - 17 (most by far for NSW, next best 9 G. Bird)
Tackles - 27 ( second highest for NSW)
All runs - 21 (most for NSW)
Metres made - 162m (3rd best behind Bird and Hayne)

Seems to play alright with and against the best as well.

And Weyman was f**king useless in Origin this year - again!

You obviously didn't watch the Drags semi v Brisbane last year. A bloke called Nick Kenny smashed Poore and Weyman into submission. Who? That's what I was saying. Nick Kenny. Get a copy of the game, it's top viewing!

I guess his stats in rep matches should back you up, being that he was playing in stronger packs than the Sharks.

Gallen Origin 2.

Runs - 14 (2nd for NSW)
Metres - 112 (2nd for NSW)
Tackles - 19 (11 for NSW)
Minutes: 53

Gallen Origin 3.

Runs - 21 (1st for NSW)
Metres - 162 (2nd for NSW)
Tackles - 27 (2nd for NSW)
Minutes: 70.

Test

Runs - 16 (1st for Aus)
Metres - 114 (4th for Aus)
Tackles - 45 (1st for Aus)
Minutes: 56

oops....

So Gallen made 8 metres per hit up in game 2  and then 7 in game 3

NSW are an average team of late, as I previously said and have now proven again it's easy to look good in a poor team.

Weyman was injured during Origin (but still played) and QLD was lucky he was too, he'll be back next year and as seen by his club form this year is one of the top NRL props and forwards around.

Someone had to do the props work in game 2
- it wasn't going to be Weyman.

Sorry, you're just a cyber-spastic.

Every piece of evidence put in front of you shows that Gallen was first or 2nd in most categories in SOO and the test. Something that according to your prior posts espousing your reasoning, shouldn't happen.

Stop being a dickhead for the sake of it.

Go haunt the Saints forum, they deserve you.

i'm guessing he's a youngster who loves his dragons.

jared if you are indeed 12 or so, fair enough.

just steer clear of broncos2010.

well clear....with your belt as tight as possible.

Here's some stats from this year to prove my point:

Gallen 23 games / 3 Tries / 1 Line Break / 34 avg tackles

Creagh 23 games / 10 Tries / 6 Line Breaks / 32 avg tackles

dude, i'd prefer hymie to gallen as well. but your stats simply indicate that a wide running second rower benefits more in a top-of-the-table side than a lock does in a sh*thouse side.
