“With the team we have now and the stars we’ve got and how hard we’ve been working in the pre-season, I think it’s going to be a big year.”

“I’m trying, I’ve tried to eat so much over Christmas, but I think it just goes off me, so I don’t know how, I’ve tried my best,” Galvin said.

Gould is obsessed with our man.
No doubt the ogre & Arthur Laundy would be consulting with tax/legal experts as to how to lure Galvin to Belmore by avoiding the scrutiny of the salary cap auditor.

It’s diabolical that the delusional NRL bigwigs have allowed a Gen Mgr of an NRL team to also hold a glaringly incompatible & influential position in the media.

Thank goodness we have the ruthless Richo at the helm otherwise Galvin would’ve already left Concord as Isaac Moses would have the imbecilic Hag & Pascoe over a barrel

I think we're in the box seat when it comes to re-signing Galvin.

The dogs would have to be close to the limit, if not already over. Like us, over the last 3 years they would have had to pay overs to get the good players to the club. It's only now that they've built a good team that players would go there for fair market value. I can't see how they could squeeze in a million dollar player, which I'm guessing Galvin will want. If they were to sign him there'd be shenanigans going on for sure.

The rorters are the only other team I can think of that have plenty of space (legitimately too, for the fist time in about 25 years) but they can hardly say they're an attractive proposition, being at the start of a major re-build. Maybe the Raiders, but even the lure of porn and fireworks can't get anyone to go there aside from poms who think 10 degrees is Club Med.

I wouldn’t rule the detestable dogs out.Gould doesn’t play by the books & he wields influence over a billionaire benefactor. No doubt the rorters will make a big play for LG notwithstanding Politis claiming he won’t deal with Moses as he will just get another Bondi heavyweight to liaise with Moses the vermin. All in all I still believe we are a reasonable chance due to Richo albeit we need to perform well otherwise we will not just lose Galvin but due to the ridiculous clauses in his contract JL will also exit Concord.

Agree, of the 3 that have been mentioned, I don’t see any up side of signing with anyone but us.
We have the cash and one of the best halves playing next to him as a mentor.

We also have Latu on our books. It'll be interesting how the next couple of seasons play out for us.

Let’s hope we have a dramatic upswing re form on the field & hence the ladder as it would definitely swing things our way re retaining Galvin as well as other talented kids long term
