Well, f**k me. This is hallmark Issac Moses at work here.

I would normally say leave the kid alone and let him play footy. But, I believe this move of Galvin's is a deliberate sign of agitation.

Im pretty sure Galvin will leave the club at the end of 2026. Everything seems to lead to that, especially with Issac Moses around.

If I was Richo, I'd be ignoring this one and leaving him at 6 which is where our best prospects of winning games will be. If he signs with another club come November (which I strongly suspect he will do), then put Latu at 6 for 2026 and put Galvin at a different position or if he has a sulk, NSW Cup.

I think we're in the box seat when it comes to re-signing Galvin.

The dogs would have to be close to the limit, if not already over. Like us, over the last 3 years they would have had to pay overs to get the good players to the club. It's only now that they've built a good team that players would go there for fair market value. I can't see how they could squeeze in a million dollar player, which I'm guessing Galvin will want. If they were to sign him there'd be shenanigans going on for sure.

The rorters are the only other team I can think of that have plenty of space (legitimately too, for the fist time in about 25 years) but they can hardly say they're an attractive proposition, being at the start of a major re-build. Maybe the Raiders, but even the lure of porn and fireworks can't get anyone to go there aside from poms who think 10 degrees is Club Med.
Agree, I don't think money will be the issue, we have shitloads ourselves, with Olam, Klemmer and a host of non-achievers in their last year with the club.
Some are saying he will go back to Parra, they are the ones that told him to f**k off and seriously, what have they got to offer, that we can't?
Our upside atm, looks huge, not so Parra.
IMO, it will come down to how we are performing this year and how he is getting on with Luai. I believe both will be good.

I posted this earlier in the Olam thread, there will be money available, if they want him.
I see no reason why they wouldn't.

The journos are having a field day with Galvin and now throwing Luai in the mix.
If it was us, they'd be telling the world what dogs we are.

Firstly I don't believe a word these journos state. Secondly Galvin doesn't come across good at all. Terrible form and taking bids for the highest offer.

The whole thing is stupid.

NRL 360 was f**king embarrassing yesterday. They basically put Luai in the mix to partner Moses at Parra after playing just the one game for us. Pretty insulting (and totally false) journalism from these pricks. Every interview I've seen from Luai shows he is pretty damn happy to be here and looks forward to the challenge.

One more thing with this Galvin business, I think we need to make a point with not dealing with Moses in the future. I don't mind managers looking after their players....but there is a way to do it. Im pretty sure Politis refuses to deal with him.
Moses is a bloke who has always treated our club with some disdain and a feeder club for his client to generate money. He has always used shitty tactics to get what he wants. We will never forget the big 4 bullshit created by him.....cannoit happen again.

The 4 oxygen thieves on nrl 360 last nite along with Rothshit & Hooper are disgraceful.Their MO is rumour mongering & fake news. Not 1 of them has a smidgeon of integrity. It was so predictable that after Brown signed with Knights the imbecilic pissants would be targeting us with never ending spouting of excrement.

Politis may have made out he won’t deal with him but one things for certain is when it suits them the rorters will liaise & suck up to him especially when he’s shopping around a gun

I could absolutely excuse them using Galvin as a possible speculation target for the Eels....most of us on here would accept the fact that the Eels will make some sort of approach. Luai on the other hand???? After accepting a big deal from us, captain of the club and playing one game???????Absolutely ridiculous....and very insulting.

I don't think we can do this. I want too. I can't stand the prick but we can't just screw ourselves over.

Im pretty sure Politis refuses to deal with him.

I think he is reported to have said something like this but he signed Tedesco from the Moses stable and I assume he has other players under Moses as well.

I just think we need to say well the kid is playing a game and he hasn't proven jack shit yet and let him go.

I was thinking the exact same thing re Luai.It was an absolute disgrace by the detestable grubs on NRL 360.

Galvin allegedly wanted out because we were playing so bad and losing. If we get our act together by the end of the year and his combination with Luai clicks why would he be keen to go through it all again with a club that is playing crap and at the bottom of the table?

Completely agree. When you look at some of the changes we've made to the roster and club, we're on an upwards trajectory. I know that might sound dumb considering we got 3 spoons in a row, but we improved last year and should do so this year.

Parra on the other hand almost came last in 2024 and look to be going backwards at a rate of knots. Who knows how long Moses could be out for, and their pack has weakened over the off season.

Add to that, parra had Galvin and showed him the door. If you worked for a company and they told you that you weren't good enough, would you be keen to go back there?

The offer that we put up and parra put up will likely be similar. If he does sign with another club I'd make him sit out 2026, out of spite. He's not on huge money next year with us.

I don't think we should compete with any team offering top dollars. I think this is one to let go. I wouldn't though sit him out from spite. I'd play him where it suits us. That might be in flegg or reserves.
