I reckon if we could sign Katao it would suit the team more. Katao is a much better player and he is a real 7. We have Luai who is more of a running player than a game manager.

I think we have options now. I've never seen Galvin perform to the level of quality juniors that have come through in the past so I think we offered him too much anyway. This sounds very Stef like in that we were going to screw ourselves but luckily the player themselves saved us from a poor decision making from management.

The way he (and that rat of a manager of his) have gone about things since his debut have really rubbed me the wrong way. So I'm kind of glad he's going. Latu F is here at least and he's got promise as well.

Maybe but not sure how beneficial ( to us ) it could be...if he accepted our offer then it would have included his 2016 money shooting way up...now that it's been rejected we're only obligated to pay him his contracted money which would probably be around 350-450?...we could even afford to have him sitting in reserves for that if we wanted to bring Latu in early. Then again...who knows?...but if anyone does it'll be Richo

He is gone and honestly I'm good with it. He has been ordinary this season and he might not ever turn into an elite level player which is the type of money he is after.

It looks to me that Richo has his bases covered for this scenario, Latu waiting in the wings ready to go and Sullivan still on contract for next year. Plus guys like Kurt Falls in NSW Cup give us some depth. Unlike previous times Moses has put us to ransom we haven't had options, this time we have arguably an equal replacement ready.
People have forgotten that Latu was the gun young half coming through, but because of circumstances injury wise Galvin got first crack and made a go of it.

I don't think so. Everyone rates Ritcho. I think he has been pretty good but I don't get that excited over him. He'd though be incompetent to do anything from this point on out. Let him go. Glad it has been sorted now, we have Fainu and Luai, build the team around that halves duo. So long as they work we won’t have to deal with hours of “why’d they let him go”
