The only way this could get funnier is if England try to go too fast at the total and implode instead.

Can't help feeling that England will still find a way to win this because it is a great batting deck, but at least we're finally going to have a contest.

That was absolutely hilarious, only England can implode like that but how in the hell did England let Ryan ten Doeschante slip through the cracks of the South African talent pool??

Regardless if they win or lose they've been humiliated here.

Makes our ODI series win look a lot less impressive. How do the Poms perform so well in tests, then come out with this tripe in the One Dayers, considering 10 of the 11 here played in the Ashes?

Why arent Holland or Ireland test teams? Both can beat 8 down now. Not to mention add Morgan, Nannes & others trying to make other test teams who would become eligible should they get test status. Cmon ICC get to it

If Ireland and the Netherlands were admitted there is a strong chance that the Asian bloc would lose its voting power, how do you think Zimbabwe kept their status for so many years or why do you think Bangladesh were given full test status? Politics.

England's Test game is based on patience, something that isn't afforded to them in ODI matches. They stick to tight lines with both bat and ball and wait for the opposition to beat themselves.

When forced to push the pace in ODI matches they're not the same team and the flaws that are there at test level but harder to exploit unless you can match patience with them become glaringly obvious.

The Dutch were never going to look impressive with the new ball. None of the associates have strong new ball men.

This will come down to the middle overs and the death.

England win, 3rd highest run chase in WC history.

Well done to the Dutch though, moral victors, for what it's worth.
