Uele is going alright. Glad he has started to hit his straps, but he still has a bit to learn.

Watch the head on fillum of when the Hartleys No7 grabs the lost ball off the bomb and scoots through the score under the post. Big Uele is nearby but just standing back, flat footed with his hands on his hips. No motion to go back and assist if needed or to clean up if he can.

Compare that the the Big Pom Stains lad James Graham. He'd be sniffing around for sure.

There was another really dumb play but I am too shitty / or just couldn't be bothered remembering.

With that I also reckon that Uele was one of our best.

PLUS WE HAD ENOUGH BALL IN THE SECOND HALF TO WIN FOUR GAMES.

I'm not reading through this thread so I don't know if this was mentioned.
They were playing a compressive defence, all game I was saying to ToP, why aren't they putting in kicks behind the centres/ wingers.
Low and behold Chad does it and Feki scored.
Surely the staff and players could see this was on from the start. Oh well.

Frenzy.

So if fifita isn't fit why play him

Because he is a leader. His presence counts as much as what he does. Teams get comfort from seeing a guy like Feefs just stripped in the dressing room ready to play.

He won’t back down, the people running the team won’t make him, the players won’t want him to miss out.

Half a Feefs is better than no Feefs to a team full of kinders.

while i agree with frenzy, i still think they should not play him next week and allow him 2 full weeks to heal before the Eels game.

I called Fifita a pussy in here weeks ago and got my ass chewed by experts in here

Yeah I heard there was a lot of expert arse chewers in here now. Apparently Uncle Sad has been running classes and getting plenty of attendees.

It is definately a broad happy clapping church in our cesspool of lurve.

James graham isn’t going real well @Quigs
He looked dreadful today and barely did any hit ups.
Got up wincing multiple times. I’d say he is busted but keeps playing because they have no one else.

Kinda like Fifita

My point re James is that he has been a machine in his position over the years. How many times do you see him attempting to chase wingers to keep them out wide when they are scoring long range tries.

How many times has he been back there to clean up after a mistake ingoal.

How many times do you see him urgently mustering his fellow forwards to pack early to save valuable seconds.

What about when he gives his fellow forwards a spray for doing dumb shit things.

Our big forwards don't think like that. If a ball gets dropped they just stand around and scratch at their groin.

They don't seem to realise that there is more to the game then just hitting the ball up hard.

Surely

Halfback Chad Townsend was revealed to be in doubt right up until kickoff on Sunday due to a bulging back disc that recurred during Saturday's captains run, with the reliable No.7 to be monitored in the lead-up to round 11's local derby with the Dragons.

Back-rower Kurt Capewell also played on with dislocated finger that broke the skin, while Morris had initially ruled prop Andrew Fifita (hamstring) out of the game before the Tongan international accelerated his recovery to make his 200th appearance.
